Excellent product. The key is to clean the area well, dry thoroughly, and then apply. It remains on the skin all day with multiple handwashes (in my case). I have been using this since moving to a cold climate when skin starts to get dried out and it works wonders!
with daily use it healed the cracks in my fingers
I've used this for a couple of years Whenever I start getting a crack I starg using it and within a couple of days ,its healing,Awesome stuff
I've now used Nexcare Skin Crack Care and New-skin Liquid Bandage. Nexcare has changed my life for the better. I constantly get painful cracks on my fingertips. I used to have bandaged fingers all the time which is gross and inconvenient, especially when you have little kids and are cooking and washing all day. At work people would always ask me what happened to my hands. Now as soon as I feel cracks forming I put this stuff on my fingertips and it will prevent or seal the cracks so I can go about my business. I can wash my hands again and again and simply reapply the product as needed several times throughout the day. Both: -Look like clear nail polish. -Seal a crack, cut, scratch, paper cut, popped blister -Help prevent a crack from forming -Keeps dirt out of wound -Washable, no wet or unwashable bandage -Dry in about 5 minutes Nexcare: -.24 oz bottle $7 -No sting, good for kids -Very slight smell until dry -Leaves a clear shiny noticable gummy spot that you can feel if you rub it over the surface of your phone. Not a problem for me but noteworthy. -Can leave gummy residue under nail if used on fingertips -Has a softening affect on my dry fingertips that promotes healing and prevents further cracking New-skin: -1 oz bottle $7 -Disinfectant and seal -Stings like crazy on an open wound or crack -Smells really strong like nail polish until dry. I can't stand to open the bottle in the house -Thinner liquid, easy to drip on stuff -Leaves thin, non-gummy but almost brittle residue when dry -Leaves fingertips dry underneath so they are still prone to crack Nexcare is the clear winner. I can use on my kids and self because it doesn't sting. It smells better, and works better for my cracked fingertips.
Please get this review app repaired so that it doesn't carry a comment about one item over to a different item on a regular basis. Something is wrong with your system.
It did sting on one of my fingers but mostly I found that it doesn't stay on very long. I have to continually reapply. I will probably revert back to super glue. I do recommend but with reserve.
Basically the same as liquid bandage. Any brand will work.
Does not actually seal cuts or cracks. Its too thin and does not build up with multiple layers applied to crack. Extreme disappointing product.
This was not exactly a Band-Aid, as I have several small cuts I used it on and a small scrape on my skin and it did not help at all.
