Nexcare Strong Hold Pain-Free Removal Knee & Elbow Bandages, 6 ct, 2 Pack

My kids and I are allergic to the adhesive on most bandaids & medical tapes. I usually resort to gauze & wraps so as not to have an allergic reaction on top of a wound. I tried these with a great amount of skepticism, but was pleasantly surprised. The stayed on for a long time & no reaction. Will definitely be buying these from now on. I received Nexcare sensitive skin bandages as a free sample and I couldn't recommend it more highly. I just happen to receive this product the week I returned home from rehab for a knee replacement. My large incision was healed but still quite tender. I put the sensitive bandage on my incision and found it to be very lightweight and breathable and very flexible because it moved with my knee. It was a good shape because it was wider in the middle and had easy flaps for lifting off. Although I was a little apprehensive about pulling off the bandage, I was relieved that it came off easily and did not pull my skin up with the bandage. I received a sample of this product to try and to honest, had to wait a little bit I tried it. I have used other Nexcare products and have been please with them, but as I age, I do notice that my skin has become more sensitive to bandages. I applied the bandage, and had to re position it a little...no problem, it came off and went back on without any issues. The next day when I went to remove the bandage, I was totally impressed! The bandage came off easily and there was absolutely no skin irritation where the adhesive had been. These will become the new all purpose bandage in our first-aid cupboard. My father and my grandmother-in-law both have extremely weak, fragile skin. Both have used the standard competitor product only to have the self adhessive bandage create a wound larger than the one they meant to treat. This product has been a blessing. Unfortunately, "sensitive" is so strongly associated with allergies, those with physically weak, fragile skin don't understand the potential benefit. People need to know that this is the Post-it note of bandages. Many elderly would benefit.

I bought a box of these, thinking, maybe they'll work....Do they work? ABSOLUTELY! I love that they use your "blue tape" which is the very best in tapes for sensitive skin! When I have to use one on a sensitive area, they NEVER leave the area surrounding the bandage with sores! This has been an issue all my life, and now, at 62, 3M has finally come up with a solution to this problem!

3M gave me a free sample of Nexcare Sensitive Skin Bandages to evaluate. Seeing "Pain-Free Removal yet holds securely" on the box, I knew the perfect candidate to test the claims was my active (and dramatic) daughter. Fortunately, for testing purposes (unfortunately, for her), my daughter skinned her knee shortly after the box arrived, and we learned the bandages live up to their claims. The bandage stayed on as she hopped, skipped, jumped, ran, etc. and when it came time to remove it, there was not even "the teensiest bit of pain" (her words). Ease of application is great. Hold over time is poor.

they are pain free but not for sensitive skin. they still remove the skin when removing. that is not skin sensitive

The pad in the middle of the bandage is barely big enough to cover a mosquito bite. The blue adhesive on the surrounding area is one of the best if you have sensitive skin/prone to rashes. But until they make the non-stick pad that goes over the wound a reasonable size, these bandages are basically useless.

I purchased these a few days ago and specifically the strong hold. I used today and am into the third bandage already. NOT WORTH THE EXTRA MONEY. They don't hold any better than cheap bandages. VERY DISAPPOINTING!!
