great product, my dogs love it!

No itching or scratching and lab tests since been on this drug a few years all good I have no trouble with this Med, and when the dog sees me opening the little pill pack, she really is eager to eat it

For years, I gave my dogs a Heart Med and Nexgard chewables monthly. When we adopted our last rescue dog about a year ago, the rescue gave us 1 month of Nexgard Plus for her. After doing some research, I realized that I could change all of my dogs over to Nexgard Plus and my pets would have all of the same protection with only one product. Even though these products are expensive, there is some money savings with only having to purchase 1 product versus 2. AND as a Surprise Bonus, the manufacturer of NexGard Plus (Boehringer Ingelheim) offered a very generous Rebate on my purchase of NexGard Plus for my dogs. I feel very confident giving my dogs NexGard Plus fror parasite prevention. I also appreciate the manufacturer offering the generous rebate on this product. In my mind, their rebate offer tells me they are doing their best to try to make their great product affordable for as many people as is possible!

I buy these from my vet every six months I get a new prescription for them. I have peace of mind and knowing that Liam is well protected..

Works great for my dog and he has no issues taking it. We also walk a lot everywhere and in different states and we have been tic free!!

My puppy has been using this since we adopted him in March of 2026. He doesn't like the smell or taste, and frankly I don't either. It doesn't smell beefy at all. It is more of a chemical smell

I bought NexGard® PLUS from my vet - the chewables are too hard to chew and I've resorted to heating them to soften them, with little success. I'm not sure if heating them is acceptable...can they be cut up into smaller portions and mixed with, for example, beef juice?

My big girl has used Nexgard prevention products since she came home as a puppy. We never had a problem before, but this month, she got sick within 24 hours of taking her dose. She had such severe vomiting and diarrhea that she was unable to eat. We had to take her to the veterinarian for intervention. Now I am afraid to give it to her again and I do not know whether it is safe for my other dogs.

There are a lot of reviews and discussion threads online about dogs not wanting to eat this. Our dog will NOT eat it. We don't know why NexGard Plus doesn't fix this. Our dog never turned down the other well known advertised product she was previously taking for years, and we're not going to go through the trouble of cutting up Nexgard Plus and hiding it in food to try to get the dog to eat it. Nexgard Plus must know this is a problem, but they refuse to fix the product. We will not be purchasing it again after this runs out, and we will be giving our veterinarian absolute hell for forcing us to switch to it - working in collusion with Nexgard to make it difficult for us to obtain the alternative. We may switch veterinarians over this we're so infuriated by this very expensive product which a large percentage of dogs including our own WILL NOT consume.

Dog won't eat it. Chewable? Good luck. Too big for pill pockets. Struggle to administer every month.
