My son loves this bike. I was also very happy with it and so was everyone else who seen it. The red is a beautiful color. It is a very nice bike, Very easy to put together and Everything on the bike was made really good. It does not look cheap at all. I took some photo's of it, to let you know how it really looked. I would recommend this to any little boy in between 8-12. :)
I bought this bike for my 6 year old son. Originally I thought it was going to be too big. I had him try it in the store. I had to lower the seat all the way down. The handlebars also had to be moved in towards him. After the adjustments were made, he was able to ride comfortably. We've only had the bike for a couple of days, but so far so good. He loves the bike and it looks great! The red color is really nice and I like the fact that it comes with all the pads and even a number plate for the handlebars. It has nice knobby tires. The only thing I changed were the handgrips. I wasn't too crazy about the ones that came with it. Overall we're very please with this bike. I'm glad I went with the 20 inch. Hopefully it will last for years to come.
I got this bike 6 years ago when i was 9 it still works fine. The only thing i had to replace is the tire tube. The chain isn't the best but i would recommend this bike. ive beat on it for 6 years and it still works fine . Overall it is a good starter bike and fun to mess around on when you get too big for it. Its good for everything from gentle kids to little daredevils it will hold together. I like this bike and defiantly reccomend it
We bought this nike for out 7 year old son. It was purchased based on price point and look. The bike has had a few rough encounters and is holding its own against a tough little boy. I would recommend this bike to any parent looking for a solid product at a price point that doesnt break the bank
My parents bought me this bike when I was 6, when my orange and black Mongoose got too small, and I can safely say now that this is the best bike I have ever owned. It has gone through 7 years of use, so it had a lot of rust on it and it needed some tuning, but after that it's an amazing bike. The only problems I've ever had with it is that the chain fell off a couple times (you just need to loosen the rear wheel, pull it back, align it, and then tighten it back up. This pulls the chain tight so it won't come off) and it got all rusty, but that's to be expected with age. These bikes are pretty cheap, and I would say that if you are looking for a cheap bike with style and good ridability, get this.
Was looking for a red bike for my 10 yr old and this was the only one I could find at Walmart in a 20". We got it quickly and put it together. He absolutely Loves it... Rides it every chance he gets. Enjoys riding with his siblings and or friends. Really pleased and he is happy.
I have twins and they both got this bike and are having problems with it. We tried to get some pegs to fit it and the bolts that are on the bike are not long enough. Then the peddals broke. They have had them for almost a month now.
I bought this in June 2010 for my son's birthday. Six months later, every unpainted part on the bike is covered in rust. The "chrome" rims, handlebars, everything. This is the worst quality bike I've ever owned and I've owned dozens. Save yourself the headache and spend a few more bucks for a better quality product. Walmart has some much nicer bikes available.
The chain keeps coming off no matter how many times it has been adjusted. We just met another kid with the same bike and the same thing has happened with his chain. The paint comes off very easily I have never seen a bike this worthless before.
Cheaply made. Chain falls off regularly and the chain guard makes repair tricky. Have also had to repair the pedals and tighten handle bars frequently. I regret this purchase & will get my son a better bike in spring.
