very nice bike

nikkizippo March 14, 2012

I am 25 and live on a dirt road. I did test ride it and it is wonderful. The seat is comfortable and bumps are no problem. I am going to take it back to my local walmart and get the same bike but in pink. I thought this one would be more blue than green but it is more green than blue. I am not very fond of the color green. Other than this...."PERFECT"

Worth the money

SBRocks May 17, 2012

I bought this bike to replace a similiar model that was stolen. I saw the 24 inch model in the store, but I really needed the 26 inch because I am tall. The ordering process was flawless and it was delivered on time. The bike works great but I do notice that the handle bar grips are a little small for my hands. I would recommend this bike for anyone who needs a general purpose bike for everyday use.

Awesome bike

trick2 March 10, 2012

Very pleased. I rode it from Walmart to home (about 7 miles) when I picked it up. Excellent, comfortable ride and the gears shift every smoothly. Awesome looking too. Two people commented in Walmart when I was leaving on how nice of a looking bike it is. For the price, it can't be beat!!!

Great price for mountain bike

mgmountainclimber February 25, 2012

I am very pleased with this bike. After looking at various cross-country mountain bikes, I was surprised to find one this cheap that was still made well and that had light-weight, aluminum. I've only owned the bike for a short while, but so far, the bike seems to climb hills very well (I live in the mountains) and also seems to work well on pavement as well as off-road. Outside of expensive, top-shelf bikes, the Next Powerclimber is one of the best in its class. Highly recommend it to any first-time or long-time bikers.

I bought this bike for my girlfriend and it seemed as great as all the other Next Mountain Bikes I have purchased. Frame is sturdy, suspension is amazing and brakes are a real charm on this one. Only complaint here was that the tube was defective and did not take the air any longer than 5 minutes. I guess I need a tube. Overall, this bike is a good purchase and appears to be in great condition in the 3 minutes I had time to ride it and check all the gears, brakes and suspension.

first time use

jazzie04 March 20, 2012

i bought this bike and used it for the first time today. i was so excited. but about half way in my ride, the chain popped off. i tried to fix it while on the side of the road but the chain would not stay on when after i got it back on.. then finally it went on after about 6 tries, but when i sat on the bike and pushed the petal once, the back tire wend sideways like it was broken. had to walk the bike the rest of the way home. taking it back this weekend and going to invest somewhere else for a bike. guess thats what i get for $88.

disappointing

mbsf April 3, 2012

I bought this bike to be active. the first time I got on to ride it the peddle fell off. I thought it was just that I didn't put it on right but it was put on once again and it happened again. Now I cant even ride it unless i'm whiling to walk back with it because the peddle falls off.

Good hardware, but you HAVE to get it set up right

smsterner94 March 28, 2012

I bought this bike yesterday in the store and right away I noticed that the rear brake was rubbing against the wheel. I got it home and then I also noticed that the gearshifts were tightened so tight that I could not even get below 4th gear. I spent 2 hours this afternoon trying to tweak everything hoping to fix these issues, and I was unsuccessful. The hardware on the bike seems like good, legit stuff, but if this bike is not setup right at the store the first time, you're going to have constant headaches. I finally gave up and took it back this evening and swapped it out for an excellent Huffy Trail Runner which I STRONGLY recommend you do if you are considering buying this. Go for the real thing. The Huffy Trail Runner will not disappoint like this did.

Horrible - most uncomfortable bike out there.

jkdeal March 15, 2012

I was looking for an inexpensive bike to ride around our neighborhood & to also pull a bike trailer for my kids. Thinking I needed a mountain bike, I bought this Ladies Next Power Climber.. Big Mistake! The seat was uncomfortable & it puts your back in a hunched over position. It was totally uncomfortable all the way around & you had to work hard to get it going at a decent speed not to mention pulling the bike trailer felt like pulling dead weight. So, I took it back the next day & tried out every ladies bike in the $100 range & wound up with the Schwinn Link for $149 (online price is $174). I didn't realize how bad the Next bike was until I rode the Schwinn. It cost a little more but was totally worth it to enjoy biking again. It was the best combo of a cruiser bike &. Mtn bike. It is also a sharp classic design. The pictures don't do it justice. Skip this Next bike go check out the schwinn. If $149 is too pricey, then try the Avalon ladies bike for $119. It rode just as well as the schwinn but the schwinn was just a tad nicer.
