Very solid build with zero flex when applying hard braking force. I wish I'd started with this instead of the sub $400 round tube frame/seat combo. Those are for children playing xbox games or those not interested in force feeback wheel base due to flexing. This cockpit came with very good instructions, very high quality hardware with extra screws/bolts etc. The Quality Control standards are legit at NRL for sure with every pre drilled hole being perfectly spot on. All the burrs removed, threads cleear of shavings and not one bolt hesitated to thread in or hold torque /tightness This is a very real pro level sim race cockpit, not a look-a-like aka Marada etc. If I'd chosen this cockpit 4 months ago instead of an entry level product, I'd be even happier with more $$$ in my pocket. I worked as a mechanical engineering tech/fabricator at a global company for a few years, so I've actually built prototype machine frames with aluminum profile stock, and this is as good as it gets from a professional's POV. If you must buy a cheaper wheel to afford this upgrade, I'd still do it and save up for next season sales or a used eBay wheel base upgrade. The solid, non-flex frame will make a weaker FFB wheel, like a 5nm Thrustmaster T598, feel more powerful due to a lack of flex. I doubted this and was again proven wrong.
The instruction manual alone woukd have earned a 5 star from me; a throw back to the 1980s that is well written with detailed and ACCURATE diagrams. After enjoying the build process, I was rewarded with rock solid platform for simracing. Quality, quality, quality.
