As someone with a tendency towards germaphobia, I appreciate not having to touch the lid. I also purchased one for my mother's room to meet her needs for disposing of diapers. Upon assembly, I simply inserted the batteries and pressed the power button, and I was impressed by the wall mount's lightweight yet sturdy construction.
