It can be a little tedious, but it's worth it. It comes with a paper copy to verify the number since some numbers are very tiny. Overall, very happy with the end product. Would buy this brand again. I've done another paint by number picture before that I threw away because the paint colors looked nothing like the picture advertised. This one definitely wasn't the case.

I really appreciate the picture, but if you were to paint this again, would you please not make the lines and numbers so dark? Especially with the lighter colors, they would be difficult to cover up. The second picture is meant to show you. It has been painted.

All the materials are included, and the instructions are simple and clear, but if you're not familiar with such small spaces, like me, you'll need a lot of patience (and maybe a magnifying glass! Seriously, I've thought about having it blown up to twice the size, LOL!).

I liked painting it, and the final outcome was gorgeous. The only reason I gave it a 4 star rating was because the black paint was so dried up that I could actually take it out of the cup and hold it in my hand. Other than that, however, I absolutely adore it.

paint was a bit dry.. had to rehydrate...

The canvas was just one color; no coloring was applied. Additionally, the canvas was gessoed, making it unpleasant to iron. It is extremely difficult to read; I'm going to take the key and have it enlarged so I can really understand what the numbers are. It also arrived folded, but it would have been better if it had been rolled.

Positives: Excellent canvas, excellent paintbrushes included, easily readable numbers. Negatives: Definitely insufficient paint (had to dilute the paint with water). Since I'm quite good at fine details, I'm almost confident a newbie couldn't do this.

In this painting, I reached a stage when the paint was peeling off the canvas. Despite doing a lot of paint by numbers, I have never experienced this. There is a color variation in the areas of the canvas that I am unable to paint on when I look at it in a glare.
