This night splint has been a lifesaver for plantar fasciitis pain. The stretch is firm but comfortable, and the Polar Ice insert is a genius touch. It actually feels soothing instead of medieval. I woke up with noticeably less heel pain and way less stiffness in the morning, which felt like a small miracle. Easy to adjust, stays in place, and doesn't feel bulky. If your feet complain the moment you hit the floor, this thing genuinely helps quiet them down. Solid design, real relief, and worth every penny.
As a back sleeper, my feet tend to drop into a plantar-flexed position (pointing downward) instead of staying neutral causing significant foot pain in the morning. These boots are comfortable to sleep in and I don't need to remove them for the occasional middle of the night trip to the bathroom. I've already noticed a marked decrease in pain within a few days of wearing these.
If your insurance deductible is high or you dont want to hassle with insurance this is a good alternative to support your foot and ankle for plantar fasciitis I use it for around the house when I need extra support to stabilize my wonky foot
The "Nice Stretch 90 Degree Boot" is comfortable & does give the support it advertises. It comes with simple instructions. I personally have to wait and put it on right when I'm ready to go to sleep and I don't put the top strap overly tight. Once asleep I never notice it - no waking up from it. It is winter now for me, but I can see where it might be hot for me to wear in the summertime. I've only used it a few nights so far, and I only use it at night, but my plantar fasciitis does not hurt in mornings when I get up now. You can walk in this boot if needed for example to go to bathroom or such small distance. It does have some rubber grips on bottom of boot to avoid slipping. I have not used the ice portion of it yet because my heel seems to be better. I did freeze it, but think it would be difficult if you tried to walk with ice bag in boot. It froze hard, not like the gel freezer bags. I've re-read instructions & it says place in freezer to chill ice bag, so I would say chill only don't freeze solid. I still give it a 5 star but wish it had the gel freezer bag. Thumbs up as it is working for me !
I bought this splint for Plantar Fasciitis. The pain in my foot gets extremely bad at night. Attempts to walk on it gets extremely difficult. Since I have been wearing this splint the pain has decreased. I wish I had bought this sooner. Keeps my foot in good alignment. I take it off when I need to walk. It is a must have for anyone suffering with Plantar Fasciitis.
After trying ice, exercise, various orthotics, special shoes, and chiropractic adjustments which all gave temporary pain relief, this product provided the most significant relief. After months of mornings with sharp heel pain, the very first night using this splint resulted in a pain-free morning. Although somewhat awkward to wear while sleeping, it was actually fairly comfortable.
I wake up each morning with no heel pain. While the pain usually comes back during the day, I can put the splint back on and the pain goes away in a couple of hours. It does what it claims and when I get home I will have X-rays taken. This is a good stop-gap WFH
I've had plantar fasciitis for several months and couldn't get rid of the heel pain. I followed a program from my doctor which included taping, anti-inflammatories, and stretching exercises but still couldn't get rid of all the pain. Ever since I started wearing this splint, it's like I don't have plantar fasciitis anymore! I couldn't believe it worked so well!
I bought this boot about 6 weeks ago and have used it every night when I go to bed. I also use it with the ice pack in the evenings if I have been on my feet all day. I feel like it has helped my Plantar Fasciitis. I would recommend this product.
I have suffered from plantar fasciitis for over two years and have bought a number of similar looking boots. And most have been more expensive, do not fit well, e.g., too big, too tight, uncomfortable. I bought the Nice Stretch and was a bit concerned that I would have a similar experience. To my pleasent surprise, the boot was the right size, was not BIG, was very comfortable and I was able to sleep with it the whole night! Previous items would wake me up after a few hours as the boot was always too tight regardless of many adjustments. The Nice Stretch was comfortable, fit well out of the box and has helped me with the morning pain associatd with plantar fasciitis. I will probably buy a second one for the other foot.
