Yes, this kit is a collection of basic magic tricks but the kids will love in once they open the box and dive in. This magic kit came fairly quickly, undamaged, and again, at a decent price.

My grandaughter has a birthday next week. The magic kit is the perfect gift. She is a beginner and this will give her the confidence to be succesful with completing magic tricks. The kit will spark her creativity and hours of playing and entertaining.

The presents well. It is cardboard, but it is reinforced and is starting and has a little handle. Each activity is in an individually wrapped clear plastic bag. All of the pieces are lightweight plastic, paper, or lightweight cardboard. There are many activities, however, I feel that a 6 to 8 year old child would need the assistance of an adult or an older sibling. it is well worth hours of family time.
