I use this carpenter mechanical pencil set regularly for DIY and woodworking projects, and it's easily one of the most practical marking tools I own. The pencils feel sturdy, write smoothly, and the lead holds up well without constantly snapping. The different lead sizes are a big plus and make it easy to switch between rough layout work and more detailed marking. The built-in sharpener that screws into the top is really handy when you need a thinner, more precise line. The center punch is another feature I didn't realize I'd use as much as I do — a quick push leaves a clean indentation that makes drilling or lining things up much easier. The scoring tool is also a nice bonus and works well when you need it. Overall, this set is well thought out, reliable, and clearly designed for real hands-on work. Contractors and serious DIYers will definitely appreciate having all of this in one set. I use it all the time and would absolutely buy it again.

Large number of items in the set. Will be using for woodworking mostly, but the smaller ones will work great as regular pencils. Appreciate that the lead is thicker so you don't get the awful noise that you do from most mechanical pencils.
