I recently started using Nielsen-Massey vanilla extract for my baking, and it has made a big difference in how my treats taste. This vanilla has a very rich and smooth flavor that smells wonderful as soon as you open the bottle. Unlike some cheaper brands, it doesn't have a strong alcohol scent. Instead, it adds a deep and creamy taste that really stands out in cookies and cakes. Many people call it the good vanilla because the flavor stays strong even after baking. It is a bit more expensive than what you might find at a regular grocery store, but it is worth it because you do not need to use very much to get a great result. It is also gluten-free and made with high-quality ingredients, so it feels like a nice upgrade for special recipes.I highly recommend this brand if you want your homemade treats to taste like they came from a professional bakery.
This is the only brand of vanilla I use. I prefer the vanilla bean paste but ran out mid birthday cake baking, and this was the only one my Walmart had. I find that if I run out of this brand, and only have the cheaper stuff, I don't even have the motivation to bake because i know the results won't be at their full potential.
I've tried many vanilla extracts over the years, but Nielsen-Massey is truly in a league of its own. The flavor is rich, smooth, and incredibly aromatic—just opening the bottle makes my kitchen smell amazing. It's not just vanilla; it's real vanilla, and you can taste the difference. This has become my secret ingredient in homemade cookies, and I swear it's what makes them unforgettable. Friends and family always ask what I use, and I tell them it's this vanilla. It adds a depth of flavor that cheaper brands just can't match. It's a little pricier than some others, but totally worth it. A little goes a long way, and the quality is consistent every time. Whether I'm baking cookies, cakes, or even adding a splash to whipped cream or coffee, this vanilla never disappoints. If you're serious about baking or just want to elevate your everyday recipes, this is the vanilla to get. It's the best I've ever used—and I won't use anything else!
a product has to be "off the chart" good for me to pay more than its competitors. this vanilla in a GLASS bottle has the best flavor i've ever tasted. just made a bowl of oats with pecans and cinnamon and the vanilla just boosted the flavor. unreal good.
This is the best vanilla I've ever used and I've used a lot of vanilla. It has true flavor. It bakes well and it just makes everything taste better. I would recommend it for anybody that needs vanilla.
One might pay more for this vanilla extract, but the taste explains why! Try it one time in a holiday dessert or a Tuesday night home made vanilla ice-cream; one taste and the extra coins won't matter.
This Vanilla is the best, so much flavor! I've also been using it in my coffee foam, it tastes great with many different ores. My wife loves the full vanilla flavor! It's a staple in our house.
I researched multiple reviews for this product and everyone raved about it. I tested it against the Aldi store brand Stonemill and to me there was no comparison. I will never buy this overpriced vanilla extract again.
it was several years past best to use by due date so I really can't judge if that makes any difference since I don't have a valid one to compare it to.
It is no better than regular cheap vanilla. I'm used to using Mexico vanilla but the Rooster brand that Amazon sells is not the same vanilla as Mexico sells in the rooster labeled bottle. I wish I could find good vanilla. Still trying.
