Had 16 cameras already installed, so just needed the DVR. Easy hookup and was working within 15 minutes.

Great products!!!
I love my night owl system. Had a bad storm here and had to buy add ons because it broke one of the cameras... accidentally bought the add on with spotlights so now I'm waiting on my spotlight compatible dvr to come in

I would buy it again
The setup was very easy. Not a huge fan of playback setup, hard to navigate to certain days and times. Might be easier in a computer but I have to pull up video footage for police sometimes and it's not the best. Overall it is a good system, I would get the same system for my house.

Product works as it should. I am not crazy about the lack of features on it. Just a simple plane Jane receiver.

I upgraded to the 2 tb dvr, it seems a little better than the 1tb. Still streams to your mobile device in kbs. If that could become mbs i would actually like this unit. Otherwise i only like it when I'm at the dvr viewing footage. It live streams ok until you select an individual camera then that kbs screws it all up.

App not so good
Machine is great and easy to setup. The app is not easy to setup also would like to see the app available for smart tv so the view is large. When interface the phone to tgg by e tv the pi's is small like on the phone
