Night Owl Add On Wired 4K Deterrence Dome Cameras with 2-Way Audio - 4 Pack - White

This FTD-8 System was much more user friendly than my first Night Owl unit which quit working after 8 years of continuous use. This Night Owl was very easy to set up. I do wish that the installation instructions had mentioned that I needed to install the "Night Owl Protect CMS" program on my laptop in order to view the cameras on my PC. The CMS program is different than the Smartphone App, which is simply "Night Owl Protect". The only oddity that I'm experiencing is, every few minutes, a random camera will quickly flash a colorful scrambled screen, or a camera will go blank for just a second. It's not really troublesome, and I can live with that. I'm hoping that it might be caused by something like my electric sump-pump cycling on and off every few minutes because we're having a very wet and rainy spring season. I'm happy that I bought this FTD-8 system. A huge plus was that the original Night Owl camera wires that I installed 8 years ago were compatable with this new system and its 4K cameras, and I did not need to run new wires.

I upgraded from some old night owl cameras for the newer model. absolute right choice. great value for the money.

I bought 2 more cameras and in description it did not say if the cables came with it. So I bought 2 cables. Now I have 4 cables cause the cameras did come with cables.

My new Night Owl system is like night and day different from my old system, the picture is outstanding and the night vision is incredible. These two cameras with the spotlight are a great addition to the system.

I love my night owl system. Had a bad storm here and had to buy add ons because it broke one of the cameras... accidentally bought the add on with spotlights so now I'm waiting on my spotlight compatible dvr to come in

The cameras are working very well. The image for the night vision is clear and sharp. Setup and installation are both very easy. Compatible with my DP2 that I purchased 1 year ago.

This model has a nice compact design. I wish this model model had power for the cameras built into the system like older models but other than that it is a good product.

I upgraded to the 2 tb dvr, it seems a little better than the 1tb. Still streams to your mobile device in kbs. If that could become mbs i would actually like this unit. Otherwise i only like it when I'm at the dvr viewing footage. It live streams ok until you select an individual camera then that kbs screws it all up.

I got this system four months ago and I think I like my old system better. I like the audio with the system but the videos lag and it will notify me with vehicles and humans but nothing is there or its just a bug, rain, etc. Not sure if it's my settings or not but my system only keeps 25 days of events and won't let me manually delete to save space.
