Night Owl Indoor Wi-Fi IP Plug In 1080p Deterrence Camera with 2-Way Audio - White

We bought this to install while we were on vacation for 2 weeks. Even though they are just temporarily set up we can see what is going on at home when we are 1700 miles away. Can't wait to set cameras permanently and learn more about the features of Night Owl.

Nightowl products always seem to above the rest. This was easy to install and had a great picture day and night. Unfortunately it did not fit my needs because I wanted something that would detect a car coming down our long driveway and this camera system would only do human and face detection, other than that it was spot on for human detection within the camera view.

Hello, we just bought your system! It wasn't on a whimp. My buddy ordered his and I love his! I mean clarity, sound, and just over all its a very nice set up. When I get mine installed, I will get back on here and post some pictures! Thank you for being there when I ask questions. Thats what it's really about.

I don't often have/take the time for reviews but I believe this deserves a few minutes of my time. This is the second Night owl system I have purchased. Over all, the systems work very well, however, remote viewing in the app can be a pain due to buffering and failure to load cameras. This is likely due to slow internet speeds available on our end Although I do have some issues with my first system which has very fast internet. I installed this system in an aircraft hangar yesterday. (8 Cameras) the first camera I installed was 32 feet in the air. I mistakenly dropped the camera from about 34 feet onto concrete floor after bouncing off of a beam. I was 100% sure it was destroyed. I decided to go ahead with the set up and to my amazement, the camera survived that fall with NO visible damage AND connected and still worked perfectly! I have to admit this is a testament to the camera construction. The setup for the second system was surprisingly simple as it automatically connected to the app already installed on my phone and walked me through from there. That in itself was a real relief. I had to contact tech support for my first system last week and they were quick and responsive. Had my issue resolved in minutes. I have 5 large aircraft hangars and will likely purchase 3 more systems in the near future!

This could use a spotlight and battery backup for power outages. it also has a few glitches.

I am really happy with the cameras but the software for the system needs a serious upgrade. The operating system looks like it has come out of 1995. I would really like to see a major upgrade and update to the software. Other the other side the cameras are fantastic

I've had 2 of these systems for over 2 years. The image recognition algorithms send notifications on: tree branch shadows, squirrels, cats, dogs, and other animals as Human" notifications. "Activity" zone settings are useless , as I continue to get notifications from images anywhere in the camera FOV. NO tweaking to sensitivity or other settings help eliminate erroneous image notifications. Engineering needs to make lots of improvements to the image recognition algorithms. PS: I'M a Cyber Engineer with over 40 years experience architecting, designing, integrating, operating and maintaining complex IT and security systems.

it wouldnt register with the night owl app nor my wifi. went through all the steps to set it up multiple times. even on different networks and other phones. still nothing. the night owl app wouldnt even recognize it as an official product.

came with a tipe c charger and its a different plug into the camera. Can't use it

I would like to return this system. I am disappointed that it will not let me make the adjustments that it said I can. Even thought it took my security password. This is the 4th or 3rdrd system I have had and would like to go back to a hard wired system. I have always like my night owl system in the past, but this one I am disappointed in. I have just received it a week ago and would like to return it for a hard wired one.
