Bought this for security reasons, and hands down the best security system! Yes it is pricy, I wish I would have gotten the wireless. But it works well if you can hide the cords on the walls. It detects very sensitively though. A bug will fly by and it will detect it. But you can have multiple people on the account so you can always have somebody keep an eye out on ur house!

I purchased a home that had a Night Owl system installed. The poor old base unit finally bit it. It was FULL of dust and debris. It was not taken care of. I purchased this unit and installed everything within an hour because the wiring was pre existing. The picture quality tripled. Clarity is fantastic, and the night vision reaches far enough for my needs. 10/10

there ain't anything to dislike the cameras are awesome the replay of video is great to if you want good security for your home or business night owl is what you want the picture for play back is as good as tv.

I just replaced my old system Zues 10 and what a difference with the upgraded camera.. clear view especially at night.. worthy system and easy to install.

This is the best camera set I have bought. I'm using 8 of the 16 cameras at this time I like the spotlights I live out in the country and it helps a lot. If you're looking to buy a set hope you have as much Is success as I did

Bought this system to replace a prior night owl system. I didn't have to rerun wires the new cameras plugged right into the existing cables and then the dvr was plug and play as well. Still working on getting familiar with the new system but so far so good I'm happy with it. The only reason I didn't give it a five star is because I'm still getting familiar with the system.

I bought this to replace my THD system when it's Hard Drive failed. Night Owl Marketing was great in providing a compatible system that didn't require that I replace all my old cameras. Simply unplugged the old and plugged in the new using the same connections.

We have owned the night our security system for several years, we are on our third system. The last system that finally wore out this week we purchased in 2017 and utilized The night owl HD app. I utilize an old tablet as a monitor in my work area so that I can see when I have deliveries. The tablet is mounted and displayed my four primary cameras throughout the day uninterrupted. It is too far from the system itself to use a cable to have the normal monitoring. This app is absolutely useless for a constant monitoring. It shuts down right at the most inapt time and then takes forever going through all the steps to get it back up and running again. Basically this app is made my system useless for my every day use and is making me reconsider night owls system.

this night owl DVR setup is a total and complete piece of crap their tech support must have been McDonald's employees or something they have no idea what's going on with the product all it will do is boot into the owl screen that's it if you try to look for a phone number for the company you can't do it you can only chat with them on their website after playing with this stupid piece of crap for two full days I have decided to line it up next to a tree and gun it down
