Nikon Coolshot PROII Stabilized Golf Rangefinder, White

I've never used a rangefinder before. I'd hate to see how difficult a non image stabilized device would be to use because sometimes my images have plenty of shakiness. I am not suggesting this one is not working correctly. It could be my hands are very stable.

This rangefinder works great. It zeros in on the flag stick and gives me an exact distance instantly. Much better than my GPS watch which only gives me the center of the green. The stabilization makes takes the shake out of the 6X magnification.

I bought this rangefinder for my son's 41st birthday (July2) but were unable to use it until yesterday. He took it out of its packaging, put in the battery and used it effectively on the driving range for about 5 minutes. 25 minutes later on the 2nd hole, when he tried to use it, it would only display the "ERR" code? He attempted to use it several more times in the following 30 minutes, but consistently only got the "ERR" code?? I took it back from him to get it replaced, but today when I tried it, it worked flawlessly!?! In attempting to follow up with the retailer Maple Hill Golf, their website directed me to deal only with the manufacturer. When I went to the Nikon site it directed me to work through the retailer!?! I don't like being in the middle of a "he said/she said" conundrum!! The Nikon Coolshot PRO III is not inexpensive- I should be able to expect better performance and customer service!

great stabilization feature

Works great, very reliable distance for slope, and easy to use. Stabilization works very well.

This item was either a refurbished rangefinder or open box, not brand new. It had no warranty card, no users guide and no carry strap.

I received a range finder with a Japanese and Korean only manual, no English, and without a warranty card. This item is gong back to the seller.

Open box. It's not working. I emailed Walmart and nothing is happening.
