It seems quite accurate, within spec.
I've never used a rangefinder before. I'd hate to see how difficult a non image stabilized device would be to use because sometimes my images have plenty of shakiness. I am not suggesting this one is not working correctly. It could be my hands are very stable.

Appears to be gray market item
I received a range finder with a Japanese and Korean only manual, no English, and without a warranty card. This item is gong back to the seller.

Ripoff
This item was either a refurbished rangefinder or open box, not brand new. It had no warranty card, no users guide and no carry strap.
