Great pictures and easy to use, still learning all the settings on this camera. I got the red one and it is very pretty too! So far I am very pleased with this camera and I would recommend it to anyone who loves taking a really great picture! Just a little reading in the manual and you are set to go! Bought a D5300 body only camera that was refurbished from a known online camera shop. That unit worked less than 4 hours. I decided to check Jet.com and found a brand new Nikon D5300 with lens for just $90 more than the refurbished unit. I will definitely be checking Jet.com again. Looking forward to using the video feature and Wi-Fi capability of this D5300. I've owned the 3100 series for a number of years and it has always provided excellent pictures. With a little one on the way, the added features of the D5300 should make for many lasting memories. I also like that older lenses are interchangeable with this camera.

This rating isn't necessarily for the quality of the camera but rather the questionable gray market sale. The camera did not come with the Nikon registration/warranty card, or the manual, or the software as advertised. Nikon USA will not repair a gray market camera and cannot tell me if it is indeed one unless I ship it to them. Walmart customer service was unable to help either. Very dissappointed that a large, reputable, authorized Nikon dealer may be selling gray market items.
