This FTZ II is a much more compact version than the FTZ I. I have been using almost all my F lenses with my mirrorless Z bodies for quite a while. I just did not like the FTZ I because it had a section that sticks out so you could mount it on a tripod, and that way the weight and length of the lens, and FTZ , would not put so much torque on the camera body and mount. But I hardly ever use a tripod, and the lens I would use one for tend to have their own tripod mounts. I much prefer this more compact, and lighter version of the FTZ.
Works as advertised. A little pricey, but cheaper than buying new Z lenses if you have F mount lenses already
Exactly as described, works great on my new Z6 III w/ my Nikon ED lenses Highly recommend!! And it was $80 cheaper than any store I found!
I likes that Walmart had this in stock and that they shipped extremely fast. This Nikon FTZII is original from Nikon it was less money than the big camera stores and I received it within 1 day of ordering
The adapter worked perfectly and was delivered in a reasonable time with sufficient packaging.
The adapter works great. It arrived on time and is brand new Nikon although apparently being grey market precludes a Nikon warrantee.
This allows the use of older DSLR lenses on the newer mirrorless Nikon cameras as advertised. Getting the official Nikon adapter via an authorized Nikon seller via Walmart gives peace of mind and rhe official warranty!
With tariffs kicking in, the price in many camera shops jumped Labor Day weekend, and this was one of the still reasonable prices. From this vendor, I received a "gray market" product not covered by Nikon USA warranty, and that was not noted in the description. However I wasn't;t surprised, and for this fairly simply product I wasn't especially worried. Others should not that the original FTZ adapter functions in exactly the same way, just a little bulkier with the not so practical tripod mount. The redesign was motivated mostly because that hampered access on some cameras with vertical grips.
shipping took awhile, but the adapter works great!!
Way too expensive doesn't work
