Works great, is not a blade sharpener. This has a ribbed cutting drum for a even and smooth surface and will stay sharp much, much, much longer than a single blade. Uses electricity or battery if you have no outlet where you need to use it

I got this because of its 3-way capacity to power up and wanted to avoid using up yet another plug in my office area. I use the USB and it works great--it blew out my hub and I had to reset it--but now I know to plug it directly into the computer. Very happy with this purchase.

I purchased one of these pencil sharpeners, liked it so much, I purchased a second one for use at another location. Sharpens #2 pencils, colored pencils, even marking pencils for sewing. Very easy to use, takes little space on desk, use with batteries or adapter. Company ships very quickly.

I was skeptical with the number of reviews that may not be authentic or received for free, however I'm glad I purchased this sharpener. I noticed there are several others with the exact design, but decided on this one.<br />The pencil sharpener is great because it has multiple ways to be powered, multiple point angles, and a stop when the pencil is sharpened, also it's fairly cheap.<br />You will not be disappointed with this sharpener.

I love love love this pencil sharpener! ! I use colored pencils mostly in my coloring projects and I just could not get the nice sharp point I wanted. I tried 2 other electronic sharpeners and about 5 hand held ones until I finally tried this one. I immediately ordered another. Now I have one that's portable (batteries) and one plugged into computer.

This is a great pencil sharpener. I like the small, compact design, which made it easy to find a spot for it on my desk. I am a copy editor and work with colored pencils, so I need a sharp tip to do the best legible work. This sharpener gives my pencils a very sharp point. It's just what I needed. I received great service from this company. My sharpener arrived very quickly, was packaged properly, and worked beautifully immediately.

nice design, easy to use.. my daughters ( 8 and 4) were able to operate it by themselves (taking this function off my neck once and for all) - both love to draw and constantly ask me to sharpen their pencils.. worth the money on a long run... would recommend

Nice little sharpener.I purchased primarily to use with my colored pencils (yes, those coloring books are fun). Having the option of battery or wall plug, its a nice feature. I plan to mostly have it plugged in,but on those times I want a take along sharpener,its cool. The battery power is not as strong as the wall plug, but that would be expected!<br /><br />I've only put about 10 pencils through it, so I will update if anything changes.

DO NOT BUY THIS! I bought one of these and it never worked, but since it had such great reviews, I went ahead and returned if for a new one. The second one worked for maybe 25 sharpens. Now it’s too late to return so I guess it will sit in a landfill for eternity. Save yourself some money and save the environment a smidge and DO NOT BUT THIS HUNK OF JUNK.
