This waste basket comes in very handy while taking care of my elderly mom and dad. When hands are soiled you don't have to touch the waste basket and they can use it next to the commode without having to struggle.

The trash can works well thus far, the auto lid top pops up as it's suppose to every time you move your hand across the top approximately 12 inches above the electronic beam. A little pricey($30 bucks), even for Walmart!

This waste can was a perfect fit for my bathroom. I like the style. And I especially like that I can use the grocery store plastic bags to line the can.

Have the same brand in kitchen, no problems, keeps the dogs out.

Guess you wouldn't classify it as a necessity, but it makes putting something in the trash fun. It looks good, fits in very little space and uses bags from the grocery store as a liner.

Best trash can ever, no hands

Haven't had it that long so can't attest to durability but there are no unhappy surprises here. It arrived in perfect condition and it looks and functions as expected. Fits nicely and its functional as a bathroom trash can. The only thing you might want to consider is the can is quite a bit larger than the actual receptacle that hols trash. If capacity is an issue you might be disappointed with the size to the receptacle compared to the overall space it takes up.

The inner basket is small which makes the usable size much smaller. One can not use it without inner basket because the machanisim for lid movement is exposed. A bag with garbages might get the moving function obstructed.

Dead out of box. Returned 7 days ago and still not recieved. I cancelled order Nine stars 2.1 gallon

Problem to change bags, not user friendly, I wouldn't recommend. If any of the bag sticks out, it will stay open or jerk back and forth for a while.
