Every time I walk by it opens this is fine, when I go to open it I'm so tall it can't see my hand so I lean towards it and it opens. 6foot 4inches my hands are too far away but it's great. I had an old one with a foot pedal and it would slam the lid against the wall and the can would move all over. This new one is 300% better

Love the self opening lid. It responds quickly. Product packaged well, arrived quickly. I tuck the edge of the bag under the inner ring so the liner bag doesn't show with the lid on. Looks sleek. So far works great.

I love my Motion Sensor Touchless Trash Can.It took a little getting use to .Until I place it where it doesnt motion open. Its in my Laundry room area .This item I recommend to every home. Sanitary helper, I call mine. Thank you

This can is much better than those I've had in the past. The batteries are more secure and won't fall into the trash can. A definite improvement over the cans I've had in the past. I've had this over in operation for more than a couple weeks and all is good. I wish it was a little less pricey but hey, inflation.

Love this trash can have had it for years!!! We use 30 gallon bags seem to be the best fit. One word of caution be careful not to throw ring liner away it's easy to do when taking lid off and pulling bag out. We've had to pull it out of trash bag more than once. Use good batteries and you rarely have to change them.

I am happy with the product but I was trying to order the same product that was advertised on sale with the smaller trash can included for 54.00 when I ended up paying 71.00 for this one. This was my first time ordering online and would have preferred going in the store in person but the sales booklet said it was only available online.

I wanted to like this trash can: the size and durability are good. But, the sensitivity on the sensor is, for lack of a better term, WHACK. You have to hold your hand over it for a second to get the lid to open, but every time we get anywhere near it, the lid opens. The irritation of that constant annoyance aside, it is also very counter-productive for a high-traffic kitchen.

3 months in and lid barely opens new batteries and still wont open completely

Poor quality

I've only used the trash can for a few weeks and already it's not working. I should have followed my first mind and not ordered it. Now I have to return it to the store. I'll stick with a regular trash can.
