I honestly have not taken these out of the box yet, but, the quality, price ease of use from past purchases of these trashcans are why I rated this so high. My experience with these cans is also why I am purchasing a second set for a friend when their new home is built. The battery lasts for a really long time, the work quickly and properly each and every time. I know they will love these cans as much as I do. Mine were a gift from my son several years ago and honestly, this is one of my most favorite gifts of all time!

I bought this about a month ago and so far so good. I purchased a very expensive Simplehuman trash can two years ago and it stopped working after a year. It cost over $100.00, so I don't think that was a very good investment. The verdict is still out on this equipment.
Product great, shipping not so much…. Ordered two sets of this product with one arriving with a significant dent. The packaging was perfectly intact so it was obvious it was packed this way. Exchange customer service representative was excellent, but time consuming having to wait for replacements and taking large package for shipping product back.
13 gal Trash can was damaged has a big dent on the side kept it any way
When unpacking and installing batteries, upon first removal of the battery cover, the plastic tab that you have to push inward to remove the cover snapped/broke immediately. Tried calling the customer support number listed in the packing material multiple times on different days and cannot establish contact with the company.
I loved it until I saw the dings on it.
The bottom black strip is sliding off with icky black stuff showing; like black tar, and has the black tar substance on my kitchen floor. I've sent a message. Currently no resolve
