We had a T-Fal frying pan and it got all scratched up after a couple of years use. We wanted to get one of the new ceramic ones this one caught my eye. I like the fact that it's 11" rather than 10 like our old pan. It has more cooking surface and is not much bigger. The only concern is the metal handle. I've had pans in the past with a metal handle and we always had to use a hot pad to take it off the stove. I've now used it a few times and the handle stays cool It's a little warm close to the pan but overall it is not too hot to handle. The price was also very good, so overall I'm very happy with my purchase.
I got this mainly for scrambled eggs. I have another ninja pan I love so wanted to try this style. It seems to work great with my eggs.
I bought this base on Ninja brand equality and durability and this item blows my minds. It's extremely good and beautiful. There's nothing that can sticky on it .
non stick seems to work well. cleans up easily just make sure you pre heat.
Great skillet.
Doesn't last! I followed all instructions. I used a silicon utensil, hand-washed it, and never used vinegar in it. It was very good for the first few times. But in less than three months, it started to get very sticky. It still looked good - no scratch and no visible damage to the ceramic, but sticky. Then it started to get very dark, no matter what I cooked - fried eggs, omelets, pancakes.
This pan looks nice and probably works great, but I have confirmed with Ninja that the pan has teflon in the coating, which is not stated on the product. Teflon is PTFE, which is in the PFAS family, and contains Gen X ( a PFAS) as well as impurities such as perfluoroalkyl acids (PFAAs). The manufacturer claims the product is PFAS free, and that is misleading and untrue. According to Presto, 'Although inert solids, PTFE, PFA and FEP are classified as PFAS substances and must be disclosed.' I was really looking forward to using a ceramic pan that will last a long time, but I consider PTFE to be harmful, contrary to what is stated in the description. I purchased a ceramic pan so that I wouldn't have to use teflon. I will not purchase anything from a company that uses deceptive advertising practices. Now I have the inconvenience of returning the item.
This pan is not truly non-stick. Was careful to meticulously follow use and maintenance instructions, but food is sticking to its surface. Definitely would not recommend!
After only a few weeks, food started to stick to the pans surface. Super frustrating thing to work with. Got rid of it very quickly.
Everything sticks to this pan. Usually you can expect a few months of good nonstick surface from a pan. This one was junk from the very beginning! Im glad I tried the single pan before I bought the whole $300 set.
