This is the hands down the best cooker I’ve ever had . And beyond a fast cooker ,from chicken Tortilla soup to chili ready in an hour ! I can’t wait to try other recipes.
This pot works exactly as described, and I absolutely love it! Replaced a cracked crockpot, and this one is so much easier to clean and so much lighter. I love that I can brown/braise meats and boils soups %26 still have setting like the crock pot.
I waited to write a review so I can give a real review. First I have had this over a month now and use it almost daily. it is fantastic! Yes, the lid has a hole it is supposed to for some steam to release. Dont have the lid on when using saute since it is the highest heat the unit produces. To me these were common sense things but other reviews mentioned them in a negative way. In regards to the "water in the lid" there is a small amount of water that can get between the metal rim of the lid and the glass. Is it going to kill or make you sick? probably not. I hand wash the unit and lid and there is little to no water because I choose to clean it this way. The unit is non stick and is so easy to clean. I make cheesy dishes regularly and have had no issue wiping it out. Would I recommend this to anyone? Absolutely!! Especially if you have a large family. I make everything in it, from tacos to soup. I would highly recommend the Ninja Foodi Possible Cooker! I can carmelize onions and get a beautiful browning on sausage links in it. It browns ground meat perfectly, and chicken gets the yummy brown bits you want it to. The only complaints I have is that a silicone grip for the pan's handles would be beneficial and with the height of my counters plus the added height of the base unit is a bit high, but the power it puts out makes the minor discomfort when breaking up meat seem inconsequential.
I love all of Ninjas items. My old crockpot had a crack in it so I was looking for a great replacement. I saw a sale for this item and quickly snatched it up. First meal made was Tuscan chicken. It sautés perfectly and cooks Amazingly. The cleanup was easy and it was simple to be able to use just one pot to cook and simmer. It does cook fast. I would certainly recommend!
Love it! love it! Love it! It can easily accommodate a big batch of food for a lot of people! I just got is last week and have used it everyday. Doesn’t get the kitchen hot and is very user friendly. Very easy to clean as well. This was an early Christmas gift as my crockpot was on its last leg. I love that this is still a crockpot with so much more versatility. To make pot roast before I still had to use other pans to sear the meat and now I can do it all in the same pot, which means I don’t lose any of the yummy drippings. I have made spaghetti in this pot ( sauce, extra water, noodles and meatballs) came out beautifully. I make bierocks (beef, cabbage and onion filled roll) every Christmas for the whole family and this thing held 2 trays of ground beef and 2 cabbage heads with room to spare. If you are the family cook this thing will be quite the kitchen work horse for you! Side note, it doesn’t take up much more room than my old crock pot did but it holds probably 3x more.
My husband got this for me and it is a GAME CHANGER. I loved being able to brown/crumble my meat for chili in the same pot as I was adding everything else to later to set it and forget it! Cleanup is super easy, and we have already brought it to multiple group settings. It was the star of the party!
this is worth the price.... i was surprised by the size. it cooks great no issues so far. im really liking ninja products. i love how the pot can be used in the oven. love this so far very nice. like the color too. definitely not cheapy like i was half expecting because its only 99 bucks!!
I have only used it once but I absolutely love it! I used the slow cooker mode and was able to fit 2 large angus roast and 5lbs of cubed potatoes. They cooked beautifully. This was the space I needed for large meals. I highly recommend.
I used the slow cooker feature for a ham. It did a good job and cleaning it was easy. After washing and drying the lid water kept pouring out of it. I noticed water is trapped between the glass and the metal edge around the glass. I'll exchange it and hope the next one doesn't have the same issue. The base heating element is extremely large taking up a lot of space.
I purchased with high hopes of loving it. The first time I used the pot the lid shattered. I had just put everything in the pot on the sauté setting heard a loud pop turned around it had thrown shards of glass all over the counter and in the vegetable soup. All those vegetables and precooked roast were ruined. So disgusting with the price of meat and vegetables today.
