Are you trying to lose weight? Do you drink SlimFast, Orgain, or other meal replacement drinks? Wouldn’t you rather be eating soft cream? Then you need to get one of these little jewels. Shake that drink up. Pour it into one of the pint containers and pop it in the freezer for 24 hours. The next day, take it out and let it thaw about 1 to 1-1/2 hours (the short thaw is crucial to success). Make sure to flatten down the top if it bubbled up during freezing, then just follow the Creami instructions for ice cream. It should come out with a consistency between store-bought ice cream and soft serve. If it doesn’t, use the re-spin button. So far, I have only tried the vanilla %26 strawberry SlimFast flavors with this. The strawberry is my favorite, and it is DELICIOUS! I wouldn’t trade this machine for anything right now. I'm sure it works perfectly well for all of the other things it is intended for, but this is exactly what I bought it to do for me. Now, I will tell you that the reviews about the noise level are not exaggerated. For the first couple of stages, it hovers somewhere between an old fashioned hand mixer on super high and a boat motor. If noise bothers you, invest in a pair of earplugs. It’s worth it.
I bought two of these so that I could give one to my son and his wife and we all use them regularly. My youngest son and I use ours almost every day but at least every other day. It’s so much fun to make up different concoctions with so many different flavor profiles. I make mine with low-fat ingredients as well as sugar-free and high protein so it’s a guilt free pleasure. I definitely recommend that you purchase one of these, but be warned that it is addicting. I bought extra cups so that we could all have some ice cream on standby at all times lol. Just buy one, you won’t regret it.
Whole family loves making ice cream in this. I also bought more containers in order to prepare more since you need to freeze it a day before. The recipe that comes with it is delish. I also do low fat sugar free, and dairy free versions that ChatGPT helped me with. There are a lot of videos on YouTube that give healthy high protein versions. It’s nice to have real ice cream because so many in the freezer section are garbage.
I used my ninja creami to make froyo, and the texture it creates is addictively smooth and delicious. It is so easy to get your little pint ready to go the night before and have a treat for the end of the evening the next day ready by following the instructions.
This was a Christmas gift for my 14 yo daughter. She screamed with joy upon opening and has used it at least once or twice a week ever since (about 5 months now). It was very easy for her to figure out, has held up perfectly, and she recommends it to all of her friends. Shes very much into sports and staying healthy and fit, so it’s perfect for her to be able to make healthy ice cream or regular ice cream.
Its kind of inconvenient. You have to plan ahead 24hrs of what you want to eat, then 20 minutes beforehand you have to soften before mixing. A pint is too much and will have to be remixed 3 to 4 times to finish. It is hard to clean and I'm not sure it's worth the hassle.
So this item I will say internet hyped this up big time. I bought this item for my daughter who likes to make her own healthy desserts. It is an overblown blender for starters. That is its basic duty. You put your ingredients in then mix then freeze, the you use it to loosen up what you froze. Its crazy. You can make healthy sorbets and ice creams with ice cream maker, or better yet try the no churn method. I know the " influencers" love this. I , however, found this useless the more I tested it out. It is super loud and super clunky on the counter. One last thing, thank the lord I got this on sale.
I've had it for a few months now it's not like we use it every day we've probably only used it 10 times but of course we're out of warranty right but yesterday I want to go make an ice cream and the The Metal Blade typing broke off like what How the heck does a Metal Blade come off
Sadly, we’ll never know if this is a good product since the Walmart driver delivered it to… the middle of the woods. He sent a picture of some trees. Not the package in the trees, just some trees. We searched our woods. Our neighbors searched their driveways and woods. No Ninja Creami to be found. Walmart wouldn’t send a replacement and by the time they finish their mysteriously long refund process, 16 days so far, Christmas will long be over. I only bought it from Walmart so the person I was buying it for wouldn’t see it on our Amazon account.
I was very excited and happy with the machine, but after 3 days of use it broke. The support is terrible and I can't resolve the problem. It's a shame, such a good machine but with so many problems and terrible customer service.
