I've recently had the opportunity to use the knife at a friend's and it is amazing! It is sharp and will cut through steel hahah. But in all seriousness it is a good knife and is sharp and perfectly shaped for veggies!

I can honestly say that this is the easiest sharpener to use. I have a healthy respect for something that can get a knife so freaking sharp! WOW is an understatement. The precision that the sharpening stone has on the knife is something I never expected. I was like ok it sharpened it, but..NO..IT SHARPENED IT!! Was amazed at how sharp this knife came out. I love that the knife locks into place holding the knife secure. Grip the sharpener at the bottom as indicated and sharpen away. It is that easy. Easy, peasy, lemon squeasy ! Get yourself one.

I have the Ninja Foodi Chefs knife which is one of the sharpest knives I've ever owned. It makes chopping vegetables a breeze but after some time it needs to be sharpened. The Ninja sharpener is simple to use and your knives are as sharp as the day you got them. You simply insert your knife in the slot it locks into place you slide lever up and down ten times press the unlock button pull your knife out and your done. I highly recommend this knife and sharpener.

I have tried to use it now about 10 times on a selection of 7 different knives of different sizes. The knives are slightly sharper afterwards but not like the sharpener I already had for 5 years. It gets them sharp as a razor and lasts for weeks. Additionally the mechanism gets hung up on the up and down movement on several of the movements??? I have tried every angle but every knife hangs up at least once every time. ** my home is full of Shark/Ninja products and this is the first in 10 years that is not 5 star - but is NOT.

It does a very good job of keeping it very sharp with no effort! I do however hate that it only works with one specific brand and type of knives. If you don't plan on buying the specific ones don't waste money on this sharpener thinking it will work for just any knife. It will not.
