Walmart had a sale on this item and after shopping On Line a few other stores including Costco, Walmart had the cheapest price. Ninja has consistent high reviews for this machine and was exactly what I was looking for. Happy that Walmart carried this product in stock.

Most used appliance in my house

Kwan January 5, 2026

My family uses this machine daily and we've already made hundreds of cups of coffee that taste better than the local coffee shops. At $7/cup it has already paid for itself. Setup took a while with multiple steps to prepare and configure, maybe 45 minutes total. After that, everything was pretty easy. Moving from grinding to pulling shots to frothing milk was straightforward and takes about 4 minutes for a double shot with foamed milk on the default settings. It holds a decent amount of water and will alert you when the reservoir is low, even during a a brewing session. I.e., it will pause the cycle until water is added. A cleaning cycle can take a while but I've only had to do this once. I think it was about an hour to complete after a month of daily usage. Minor irritations: When switching the types of coffee (double vs quad) it seems that you need to turn off the machine before you can select a different type. For example, if I grind beans first without selecting the coffee type immediately on start, I have to turn off the machine for it to reset to allow me to choose brewed coffee or a quad shot. Also, when grinding beans it doesn't always register that the holder is inserted. You have to fiddle with it until it seats. All said, I'm very satisfied with this machine. It can brew lattes, regular brew, foam milk with or without heat, make Cuban coffee, etc..

Looks great, works very well, makes good coffee

Jeffrey September 9, 2025

I decided to switch from fully-automatic espresso makers to this semi-automatic one and so far I really like it. Of course it's a little bit more messy since I have coffee grounds that get spread around, but I feel that there are much fewer things that can go wrong with this compared to the fully auto ones I've had in the past.

I love this machine better than Starbucks any day. I'll make everything you want. I'll probably make 10 to 15 cups of coffee out of it a day cappuccino espresso magically delicious.

Favorite purchase yet

Mendy1022 July 23, 2026

I've had this machine for almost 2 years now, and I honestly love it. It's probably one of the best purchases I've made for my house. I used to spend way too much money at coffee shops, and now I actually prefer the coffee I make at home. The espresso comes out great every time with a nice crema, and it's really easy to use once you get the hang of it. I also like that it doesn't take forever to heat up, so I can make my coffee before work without waiting around. I know Ninja has newer models out now, and sure, they're tempting, but I really have no complaints about this one. It still works great and has been reliable since day one. If something ever happened to mine, I'd buy another one without thinking twice. If you're trying to decide whether it's worth the money, I'd definitely say yes. I use mine every day, and it's paid for itself many times over.

Why even bother with a regular cup of coffee!?

tina May 15, 2025

I researched and researched espresso machines; all reviews on a variety of Espresso machines from highest priced to middle of the road were just all over the place. I decided to go with a Ninja strictly for the name. I haven't been disappointed in any Ninja products yet so I thought I'd give this a try and so far it is wonderful! I've only had it 3 months but it is super easy to use and I've had no problems with it. It was a bday gift for hubby and he is over the moon!

ESPRESS - NO 😭

lisa January 4, 2026

I was so excited to get this but at the same time, I was hesitant because I knew about all the bad. Well, I've had this for a little over two weeks and I've made everything it has to offer. Not one cup of Expresso or drip coffee or iced coffee taste the same. The coffee is either over extracted or under extracted. The barista assist is of no help. I gave it my all and ever single cup I've tried no matter how I made it, tasted terrible. The only thing that worked well was the Frother. Without a doubt, the Frother is a beast and makes the best hot chocolate. No reason to keep a machine that cost $600 just for some amazing hot chocolate. Sorry Ninja, this is not what I hoped for 😭😭😭 I'm a coffee enthusiast and bougie about what I drink. I was hopeful for this, to save money on coffee house cafe's 😭😭😭😭😭. I'll stick with my Moka pot and pour overs

waste of money

Mark August 3, 2026

1; Needs cleaning a lot 2; Uses a Lot of coffee 3; After 8 months of just making coffee this morning water had leaked out of the reservoir flooding the counter and the floor. 4; Not worth $500 period.

Horrible

duane February 5, 2026

Constantly having to re-make espresso, grind size doesn't calculate correctly. Compactor compacts too hard and espresso can't filter thru and gets clogged. Have to do it twice to get one good espresso brewed.
