Having previously owned a DS Lite, I would say that having a bigger screen is really nice. It is definitely heavier but I don't mind. If you have an extra 50 bucks, I would suggest you just go buy the NEW 3ds but I got this for $129 & it is definitely worth it!

Wal-Mart had the lowest price. I had it ship to store and picked it up in less than a week. My daughter is getting this for Christmas and will be very excited!

I bought this for my 5 year old for christmas and he loves it. This keeps him busy for hours at a time. The Mario game is good, but there is also so much more to this. He loves to watch Netflix when we are home as well with the wifi. He also likes to take pictures with the camera feature. It is a great system for any age.

I bought this for my 7yr old daughter for christmas. She had been wanting it for a while and I was waiting for the price to go down. Finally went down about $70. I paid $129.00. Very happy with the 3DS XL, and it comes with the downloaded game Super Mario Land, A+.

I bought this product for my picky 6 year old son. The first day he open it he knew what it was. Out of all the presents that he got which included a 4 wheeler he fell in love with his DS. He takes it with him to daycare, school, and footnall practice. I tries it out for myself and I see that it comes already programmed on it. It features picture taking which my son loves to take then it places some of the pictures as a game. It gives you all kinds of choices on the menu to chose from and you can add different cartridges. It have a top and botton wide screen for visibility comfort. Very durable and easy to use. It is a miracle to me because all he does is play it. He completely stop watching TV so I can say this product is excellent and I have one happy son.

My son loves his DS & the blue is so pretty. It's been going strong for a year & a half. Pretty durable...it's been dropped more than once & bumped around in the back of our van plenty of times but no issues. Just some scratches as expected. I highly recommend getting some type of case though. I finally did & it'll last even longer for sure.

My 7 year old son enjoys playing with the Nintendo ds xl a lot. Its easy to use for him with only a little help from me to setting up his account for the first time. I thought he would not like it very much since Santa also got him a tablet and the screen on it is much bigger but the tablet is laying somewhere in the corner and the ds gets all the attention. I am glad Santa purchased the ds. As always shipping was very easy to track and fast.
