Nintendo - Entertainment System: SNES Classic Edition (2017 Limited Edition)

For about $100, there are 20 games and (I think) original 'style' controllers! (I think they are not compatible with 'old' SNES systems though - but that's okay, in my opinion for the value/money. While, some of these titles may have been up-graded on other systems, here they seem as they did in the good old days, heh. Fun. Small. Lightweight. Cool.

Unfortunately the device I received was fake. In attempting to mod the device to accept more games, it gave me an error that led the developers of the mod software to conclude the SNES Classic I received was fake. Seeing as I am not able to attest to the real product, please be wary when buying and determine genuine quality by examining e details on the title screen and comparing them to known good devices in videos published by content creators. I have to give the product I received 1 star for the price and the fact that it was not an official product that I received. See the pictures at the bottom that says “Wii would line to play” and UI differences between an official one. I am disappointed with the merchant’s lack of authenticity verification and have started the return process.

Received a $200 Fake/Counterfeit SNES classic. Not a genuine Nintendo OEM. Observed: UPC serial number is "CU" should be "SU". Lower Box text is blurry. Controller connectors are Black and should be Grey. Kirby's game is miss-punctuated. Missing Legal notices and Manuals content in menus. StarFox2 game should not be playable until StarFox1 is played. Saving game displays " Operation Hints" instead of instant saving. Conclusion: This is a cheap knockoff fake. sending back to Walmart for refund.

AVOID! Sold Fake Snes Classic. Its a scam

I thought I was buying a real copy of an snes, but in reality, I received a fake one. Waste of time

Please do not buy this item!! Received it today and I was so excited because I thought I had gotten a great deal for this item. But upon receiving it I noticed the box looked a bit off. As any other gamer would, I looked on youtube to see an unboxing of a fake snes and a real one and turns out I have a fake one. For Walmart to be able to sell this as an original is bizarre! Biggest indicator if you have one and want to know if it's fake, look at the games on the menu and if you see that StarFox 2 is unlocked and you're able to play it, it's fake in the real console you're not able to play this game until you beat the first StarFox. Another big red flag is on the menu screen at the bottom of the screen on the fake one it says " SUPER NINTENDO WIT WOULD LINE TO PLAY" (and the font is really off) on the real one all it says" SUPER NINTENDO ENTERTAINMENT SYSTEM". Please do not give your hard earned money to this seller. They should not be allowed to sell fake things especially in a trusted website like Walmart. Getting my refund for this and putting that money to purchase an actual one at a video game store even if it'll be 2-3 times more expensive.

the system completely failed on me. i don't know how to fix it. i can select a game but the the game stays stuck on the intro screen of selected game and won't go into gameplay. i played a couple of levels in Mario and it just quit on me. i didn't do anything to it. should get insurance protection for sure. i would recommend this as it seems like an awesome product but it failed to work for me after juat a few levels.

I got this for my kids and very excited and all, but after starting to play it in the middle of the game glitches turns off the game and restarts on it own. Does not save any games do not waste your time and money on this just get an original one. It has restarted over 20 times in the middle of the game.

This is exactly like everyone else has said. It was a complete sham, I returned it immediately, if you get it and it’s the same, I would do the same. Huge lag, it was even hard to play the game because there was a delay. I would read the other comments on here because they had great advice. Thank you all whoever reviewed this in the past. I’m just a regular guy trying to live out his childhood. Your experience may differ, but that was a complete garbage that I bought.

Your product blew up mild TV after I plugged it in, what you people are thinking selling electrically faulty materials but one of these days someone's going to get hurt bad enough to sue you for all you have children use this device can you imagine the repercussions they're going to reverberate through your company women gets shocked and dies by electrocution. Parents do not buy this product
