This product is official and legitimate. It came sealed in the package and brand new. The battery holds a charge for a decent amount of time like new and recharges just fine.

Fit right in the Nintendo 3DS and is working perfectly.

Did not come charged. But once charged, works great.

So far so good working on my sons DS as promised %26 he is happy again.

Seller is selling counterfeit batteries and is misleading buyers with false advertising as "Official Original Nintendo" battery. All genuine Nintendo 3DS batteries have a unique serial number on the battery. I purchased two of these from GAME MAX and both batteries share the exact same serial code "F79P110" which is found all over AliExpress for $5 each. The weight of the batteries from GAME MAX also weigh in at 22.1g where as the genuine batteries weigh in around 28.8g. That is a MASSIVE difference. Why is this important? Li-Ion batteries are essentially just rolled up sheets of anodes and cathodes. That means there is physically less inside of the battery casing. (about 75% of the genuine capacity at best) meaning you're buying a battery that has a capacity of around 1000W at the very best. Genuine batteries are rated to last 3-5 hours of continuous play on a full charge. These will last 2-3.5 hours at best on a full charge. Does it work? Yes. Is it false advertising? Yes. Is it genuine? No. Had this seller just advertised it WITHOUT the "Official" or "Original" title I wouldn't care. But these are not genuine Nintendo issued products. I posted a picture below comparing 2 real batteries (left) with the 2 fake batteries (right) from this seller.
