It's a child's toy so I didn't expect super high quality but it seems that when the controls are attached, it feels flimsy but it's nothing really. My daughter loved it and the versatility is amazing and for the tech specs, it's pretty powerful. I think the technology is pretty dated for the price but Nintendo has figured out how to make the games work well with the system. Would recommend
Great quality. Just as bright as in the pictures. My only grievances are that the right joycon seems to disconnect frequently when in TV mode and that the texture of the Splatoon patterns on the back make it constantly feel like it's just a little dusty.
i received the oled however it's the Japanese version but it really doesn't matter at the end because the Nintendo switch is region free and it works just like the US version so there's no differences between versions.
Console is the Chinese version meaning that it comes with a power cord that doesn't fit United States power outlets. I wish the seller would mention this in the product description but oh well. I also thought the console might be region locked but mine wasn't. I know some Chinese Switch consoles are region locked so would still be cautious about buying this. and I hope you dont mind buying an outlet adapter or a new charger. otherwise, the product was fine and came in mint condition.
This model of Switch is one of the best looking, but unfortunately i receive a Japanese model, not a big deal. But I would've like to have an English version or at least Spanish if there is, however that is not a big deal of not enjoy this console. No damage to the box or the console while shipping, however i would love for the seller to specify that the product would come in another language, so the customer would be aware of what to expect. Other than that great item and fast shipping.
I don't know if third-party people are able to sell on your site or what the deal is. But I called Nintendo when I was having an issue and they ran the serial number on the machine I got and it's a Japanese model. They said it may have conflict playing some games. So far it's OK. I would guess Japan has more restrictions than we do on games. Buying from Walmart you hope you're buying a new product for the US. I want to buy controllers, but I don't know if I'll be buying a knock off. I guess I will have to buy directly from Nintendo.
I thought I was getting an American version and got a Chinese one
When I received the switch I thought “COOL! it's a Japanese box!” I was fine with it because the switch is not region locked. But when I opened the box and looked at the joycons, it looked fine from the front… but the back, they looked fake and cheap. You can somewhat see through the back piece, almost like it's thinner plastic than regular joycons. I have joycons of my own and they are solid plastic, unlike these where you can tell it's cheap plastic. Then let's get to the tablet. They sent me the Pokémon Scarlett and Violet tablet! The tablet itself felt fine by the touch, but very disappointing that I was sent the wrong one. The doc itself was correct but the cables were already plugged into the doc? You can tell this was pre-owned/pre-opened which the seller did not specify. Overall this was a terrible experience. I returned it in store about a day after I got it. Now I have the TOTK OLED which I bought in store, this one is much more high quality and you can tell by just looking at it from a far. Never buying from this company again.
This was a Japanese version. No where in listing did it tell you that. I contacted Nintendo Nintendo said while the game works if you ever need repairs Nintendo USA can't do them even warranty repair. They said we would need to ship the item to Japan so basically sane price no warranty I returned immediately
The web description never says that this Splatoon Console is the Japanese version. I mean even Amazon put in their web descriptons for switch consoles if it is an american version or japanese. I will never order from walmart.com again. Then on top of this horrible situation I decided to take my console to a walmart location to return it and now I have to wait a whole month for my return to process so I can order me the right switch console until end of march. This is such an inconvience. Word to the wise do not waste your hard earned cash on ordering a switch console from walmart.com.
