NishikiBrown is very fine rice and good for everything. I eat it myself and make my healthy dog food with this rice.

NISHIKI brand brown rice doesn't disappoint
It's a brand for brown rice I've always liked. I usually get it from the Asian market but since I don't go out unless I just have to; ordering from Walmart was perfect. The one time earlier this year when I was stocking up, I purchased Uncle Ben's brown rice ... and did NOT like it at all. It look like someone tried to pass off white rice as brown by soaking it in brown liquid. I gave both bags away and saw that my favorite brand for brown rice - NISHIKI - was available to order. It pays to stick with what you know.

I Love this Medium Grain Brown Rice.
This is a great product. I prefer the medium grain brown rice because it is less points on my Weight Watchers eating plan. It also cooks up perfectly in my electronic rice pot and tastes great. The shipping was a bit slow but it got here in perfect condition.

Great Rice, Poor Handling
The rice itself is great. I would give it 5 stars. However, the packing clerk must have torn a hole in the bag while lifting it (it is heavy) and shipped it without repairing the hole, so by the time it got to me, several cups' worth of rice had spilled inside and out of the cracks of the shipping box. Very disappointed.

Fine, but processing needs to be fixed.
The processing isn't good. You will find husk of brown rice in here and will be spitting out some of them or eqting them by accident. This is one of the cheapest brown rice around, so this is one of the few options if you're on a budget.

Ordered Brown received White
I ordered medium grain BROWN rice. Walmart shipped medium grain Rico brand WHITE rice. I need medium grain brown rice. I'm old and can't drive or do all the necessary things to correct Walmart's mistakes in shipping. Now I have 20 pounds of WHITE rice and still need 15 pounds of medium grain BROWN rice.
