I love these filters!! I have used them for over a year and find that they are the only filters (with the machine) that keep smells out of my house. I have tried many other things to keep the smell out, but these filters were the only thing that worked. You do need to change them every 3 months. Great product.

The product is fine, but don't expect what is pictured. The picture shows the old type of filter. The new filter is two smaller pieces instead of one large one. It doesn't make any difference; it works the same for the unit. You don't get two large filters, but two smaller ones for one large one. So, you are only getting one replacement filter.

There used to be a few different colored filters, each supporting a different situation (smoke, pet dander, odors, etc.) This blue one was the basic and it fits fine, but it doesn't have the AER1 logo on it. That's the only difference. I think the price is great because that's what I originally paid for replacement filters years and years ago. I wanted to stock up because, like typewriter ribbons, I don't think they'll keep making these as the new Holmes air purifiers are different.
