Great product, I use them rigging my raft joining the ends of two loop straps. Quality innovative buckle. Other reviews say the strap frays. The straps fray when you don't secure the loose ends and they flap and whip to pieces at 80 mph. Secure your loose ends.
The product is very versatile and allows for flexibility in configurations depending on the length of webbing. I would definitely recommend this product.
Trust is where it begins and ends with many things that require strength and security in holding things hard and fast. This Dual CamJam is the JAM! Other than than the webbing beginning to fray after two years hard use this system is one I recommend most when someone asks, “How did you do that?' & “ Hey what's that?” Thanks for great kit.
Got this mainly for pick-up and trailer tie-down, but but useful on the ranch as well. The loop end slips through eyes on my truck bed easily enough, slips over cleats, and by putting the free end through the loop, can be anchored on beams, pipes, and branches as well. The dual cam lock allows the buckle to be positioned any where on the strap so you can get good access to the cams for tightening and release. The working side of the buckle works like a pulley, so we could get a 300-pound load up off the ground. I now have a couple in my truck all the time, and stowed one on the 4-wheeler, too.
Quality product that allows for positioning the cam lock anywhere along the webbing. We use these all the time at our shop for tying down material from job site to job site. Very quick and easy to use.
I got a couple of these loose CamJam Tensioners to go with my Dual CamJam Tie-down System. I added the extra tensioner midway on my 1" strap to allow me to tighten the strap completely around one bundle of 2x4s in the trailer, then wrap and tighten the same strap around a couple sticks of pipe with a second tensioner, used to anchor the whole lot to the other side of the trailer.
I use this to tie down my airplanes. It's the first device I have seen that easily accommodates high wing and low wings. The actual cam is a well machined and slides up and down on the strap to give the perfect length. Packs up tight for minimal space.
I use this product to strap down ladders and equipment during transportation to and from construction sites. It's a lot easier to use than standard ratchet straps and if you just leave the cam on the strap, no resetting is needed. It makes things super quick to use.
I bought these to strap down a kayak to the roof of my car. One frayed the first time I used it and returned it and got a new one. Now row of them have frayed on their second use. Total garbage and waste of my money.
I bought these tie downs to secure paddle boards on my car roof. Within the first use the webbing started to unravel and can no longer be threaded through the buckle. So disappointed as niteize are my absolute favorite products but this is truly just trash now.
