Nite Ize Figure 9® Carabiner Rope Tightener - Large - Black

It's bigger than another similar item i have(cam jam xt) from the same company and a bit less working load limit(150 vs 280lbs) but works with thicker rope(3-9mm vs 2-5mm) and for what i needed It's great. Loving these Nite Ize products when they actually work well.

Seems to work great. Actually purchased for young daughter to play 'survival'. Would trust it to hold, a rope wasyith weight, tightly. Hasn't pinched her fingers and has been easy enough for her to open and close.

These little things are surprisingly reliable when it comes to anchoring something down. Good to have in a "go-bag".

I really like the Nite Ize Figure 9s, Figure 9 carabiners, and Cam Jams. I don't have to try to remember knots or how to tie them. For someone with limited fine motor skills they are incredibly useful for securing loads, tents, tarps, etc.

these workev great for our rope project

We bought these carabiners to quickly rig a shade sail for our pool and have the ability to unclip the shade when we didn't need it or in extremely inclement weather (hurricane season). They work great, no issues, very secure.

I'm using these as tie downs for the bow and stern on my kayaks, in addition to the main center straps. They're replacing the tie downs that came with the kayaks, which were cumbersome to use. These are amazing easy and make it quick to too tie them down. 10 out of 10, would recommend!

Works as expected

The carabiners are perfect for my needs, they work as described. The bad part is that on Walmart's website there are 2 listings : 1 for $4.97 and a different one for $6.97 stating it is all aluminum. Turns out they are both the same. The more expensive one is being sold by a third party. Not a good move by walmart to allow this to happen( just like Amazon). So buyer beware, get the cheaper one it's all the same.

It works as is supposed to. A bit big for 550 paracord though.
