Nitram charcoals are great I have to admit it took a minute to get used to them but also found they can do wonderful things especially if you use a natural vine charcoal with it... both together unlock doors of beyond what just a normal charcoal can do.

This brand of charcoal and the stylus have completely changed my charcoal drawings. It's light weight, feels great in my hand, and the charcoal is a quality I didn't know I was even missing before. Got it on sale and it doesn't get any better than that!

Nitram charcoal is fantastic..I can sand it to a point which is super for doing fine detail, or use the larger sizes to cover large areas of my drawings...The stylus is great addition, it makes moving between hardnesses super easy. Yet, their charcoal leaves very little residue on my hands when I use the charcoal without the Stylus or Baton holders...Thanks for creating it....

Great charcoal for academic and atelier style drawings, the long shape allows you to sharpen it to a point for detailed marks. The paper wrapper at the end of the stick helps keep your hands clean. With the H, HB, and B of values you can achieve a large range of values.
