I am really thrilled with Nitro. I didn't expect them to perform the way they did. I get distance and control at a great price. I love golf and have been playing for years but still lose my share of balls so I thought, what the heck, let me try a box of Nitros. Well, when I need to purchase more golf balls, they'll be Nitro. They definitely pass the bounce test.
I got tired of losing $3.00 balls. Simple as that. I have seen Nitro on the market for years and have hit several here and there. Ordered a box and discovered a good ball. Distance is good and feel around the green is legit. Ordered several more boxes today. Best bargain in golfballs in my opinion.
These Nitro golf balls are great for social golfers. The savings go beyond just the price of the golf balls - our golfing partners, who always play Titleists, never ask us to buy lunch because they assume we're hurting financially. ;) We also like the bright colors - I use one color and my wife plays the other. All the others have to figure out whose white Titleist is theirs.
These are not a super high quality soft covered golf ball that a single digit handicap player prefers. These are better suited for the vast majority of us that hit into the rough and need the bright color to help us find it. I'd much rather watch a 50 cent golf ball go in the water or woods than a $2 ball. They are good for distance. They just won't spin as hard off your wedges near the greens.
I am a terrible, terrible golfer. So these balls fill two needs for me. 1 - They're highly visible, so I can see them in the rough (where I spend most of my time). 2 - They're cheap, so I don't have to feel terrible about launching one or two (or six or seven) out of bounds.
I test golf balls and these performed very well. Spin rate was up to an acceptable level and I managed to get good spin with wedges on greens. Driving distance was about 265 yards with a 10.5* driver, I can top out at about 280-300 depending on temps.
Like golf but not the price? These are great entry balls at $0.68/ball! They are very hard balls- so flight is technically longer per claims; but you buy economy balls because you dont need to cry losing your ball cuz your golf game is developing!! These suffer on putting- think like hitting small stones , so they have no response to finesse close. For what these are- get them! Best deal in golf? Check! Great fairway? Check! Hard on clubs, check! Go lighter on putting- score!
Why pay $1.50 or more for golf balls. These are about $.50 ea and they are white with dimples just like the fancy brands. I can hit three of these into the lake for the price of one of the other brands. I'm (obviously) no expert, but as far as I cen tell these go just as far and straight as any other ball.
Great cheap ball especially when you're bad at golf you don't care to lose them especially when the yuenglings are going down I'd add a photo but I lost them all
Less expensive option with decent performance. For the cost, these are good playing golf balls. If you are concerned with launch spin carry etc get a 388 dimple premium ball. If you want a good hitting low cost ball this is a good one
