NIVEA Original Moisture Body Lotion with Vitamin E, 48Hr Daily Body Moisturizer, 16.9 fl oz

I have been using this product since I was a kid. It has never not worked for me it has been the same powerful, great smelling, ash removing goodness for years.

I started using Nivea lotion when I was around 10. I'm turning 60 next month!! I use the Original formula (sorry, but I don't like the enriched- too oily for me.) At one point, they stopped selling the Original, but thankfully, put it back on the market. I used Nivea over my whole body - including my face. I have 3 daughters - 2 use Nivea. They all equate the smell of Nivea with mom! My 23 year old, who doesn't use Nivea, was surprised when I mentioned that I use it on my face. I happen to have inherited great skin but have never used any other lotion on my face other than Nivea. Isn't my face part of my body?!!! Thanks for making such a great product.

It's extremely morstourizing. Well worth the money. My favorite lotion by far.

My husband has extremely dry skin and this product seems to do the trick.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have used Nivea Original Body lotion since like 1995. What on earth did you do?? It doesn't have the same smell, consistency and I broke out in the worst rash!!! I'm so sad, throwing it in the garbage. Your marketing team better be reading these reviews!! This is a travesty.

This product is NOT the original Nivea that I have used and loved for years. Its much thinner and the scent is horrible and stays around all day. I am appalled that they have changed it and certainly NOT for the better. I will NEVER buy Nivea products again unless they return to the actual original formula which moisturized really well and had a lovely scent.

This product was gifted to me, which is something I am grateful for because otherwise, I would have wasted money. From the first use, I could already see myself throwing this away because of the strong fragrance, which isn't a good sign because it is a potential irritant. My skin immediately turned red and started itching. Please do not consider buying this product and no, I will not be repurchasing.

For some reason the original formula was discontinued and this reformulation is a huge bummer. It's nothing like it used to be, and I'm still searching for a lotion to replace it after years of use. I really wish Nivea would bring back the original, they blew it with this one!

I am in agreement with the majority of these reviews and was extremely displeased with the new formulation. It is much heavier than the original formula and much too heavy for my skin which doesn't need that- especially in the hot, humid summertime. I would love to see a return to the original formula which is lighter than the new "essentially enriched" blend. Iwas pleasantly surprised to see a lot of people agree with me. I tried to register my complaint by mail before this but my letter came back undelivered. Apparently, now that Nivea is the product of a German company, your American address is no longer open and my letter came back. If you don't return to or add the original formula for purchase, I will look for another brand of lotion because the new blend is unacceptable and much too heavy for me. I am very sincere.
