NIVEA Original Moisture Body Lotion with Vitamin E, 48Hr Daily Body Moisturizer, 16.9 fl oz

I have been using this product since I was a kid. It has never not worked for me it has been the same powerful, great smelling, ash removing goodness for years.

Please bring back the original scent. I bought a new bottle of Nivea lotion and thought perhaps I grabbed the wrong bottle. It indicates new 72 hours moisture. Since I shower every day, I feel 72 hour is a bit much . Anyway, the new scent is light and the lotion feels sticky. I am very disappointed, as I have been a true fan of Nivea since I was a teen. After reviewing some of the other reviews, I'm not alone. There's an old phrase "If it's not broke, don't fix it".

I'm so happy to see that others are disappointed with the Original Nivea Body Lotion. I, too have been using this product for over 40 years! Loved it! Please go back to the Original formula. I really don't want to have to try and find a new body lotion. But I will if it doesn't change. Smells terrible and is sticky. I hope with all of these reviews from your loyal Nivea customers, you will listen and go back to the original loved product! Thank you.

I have been using Nivea Original Body Lotion for decades!! It is my favorite moisturizer. I was so upset when I realized that the formula has been changed AND the scent !!! PLEASE LISTEN TO YOUR CUSTOMERS AND BRING BACK THE ORIGINAL SCENT AND FORMULA. I will not buy Nivea anymore until it has been changed back to original scent and formula.

I started using Nivea lotion when I was around 10. I'm turning 60 next month!! I use the Original formula (sorry, but I don't like the enriched- too oily for me.) At one point, they stopped selling the Original, but thankfully, put it back on the market. I used Nivea over my whole body - including my face. I have 3 daughters - 2 use Nivea. They all equate the smell of Nivea with mom! My 23 year old, who doesn't use Nivea, was surprised when I mentioned that I use it on my face. I happen to have inherited great skin but have never used any other lotion on my face other than Nivea. Isn't my face part of my body?!!! Thanks for making such a great product.

My husband has extremely dry skin and this product seems to do the trick.

This product is NOT the original Nivea that I have used and loved for years. Its much thinner and the scent is horrible and stays around all day. I am appalled that they have changed it and certainly NOT for the better. I will NEVER buy Nivea products again unless they return to the actual original formula which moisturized really well and had a lovely scent.

New scent and is terrible. Why was it changed? The new bottle is cheaper in design, I thought maybe to reduce waste. But the bottle says " original formula" - it's obviously not. A different fragrance changes the formula. That's a bit deceptive. Been buying the Nivea for decades, but looks like it's time to go with a different brand. Disappointed.

I have used this body lotion for over 4 1/5 decades…that's right for over 45 years I grew up with the original scent and texture of this lotion! I first noticed the new scent, I actually thought it was just the base and that the manufacturer forgot to add in the sent. I even purchased another bottle from the same retailer thinking I just got a bad batch of bulk (Industry term…I work in the manufacturing industry for personal care) and that was not the case at all and returned. No I'm “suffering” through the first bottle while I look for a new everyday body lotion to move towards! I'm sad to have to break up but I don't like the scent and it leaves my skin sticky verses silly and smooth.

In a nutshell, nobody likes the new version and wants the original “original” back! No need to try and improve the new version by tweaking the smell and texture. Nothing was wrong with the original texture and smell, so go with that!
