Big energy game

Josiah B. January 1, 2026

Our group had a lot of fun playing on New Years Eve. We did burn out after 20-30m, but I'm going to attribute that to us being a little older than we used to be. This is definitely a "get up and move" kind of game, so if you are bringing that kind of energy it is a lot of fun.

Entertainingly Chaotic

Edgar C. December 17, 2025

This game is best enjoyed in larger groups, as it lends itself to more chaos. The rules are straightforward and probably take 2-3 rounds to get down. I love the simplicity of it and how much my family kept wanting to play. Highly recommend this for the holidays or any larger gatherings.

The Next Great Party Game

Rob M. January 7, 2026

This game is fast paced and super fun! We played with middle schoolers and adults and it took zero time to explain so we we re able to get going right away and working on challenges. Changing groups that you are competing with each time creates just a right amount of chaos into the situation to mean that folks are spending more time hanging out and less time looking for something to talk about. I will be recommending this to everyone for a while to come!

Exciting game for the whole family!

Erika December 16, 2025

No Loyalty is perfect for the whole family! This game had us in tears, laughing and running around the room. We made circles on the floor, stood on top of chairs and laughed the whole time. The game was so fun, even our 69 year grandmother had fun doing handstand to win her tokens! I recommend No Loyalty to everyone!

Adaptable, quick party game for kids and adults!

Alan R. December 22, 2025

Aside from the Great concept, what I like about no Loyalty is how it can be tailored to fit each group. When playing with kids, you can sort through the challenges to take out things they either can't do (Like take selfies on their phone) or when playing with tipsy adults, skip the physical ones like climbing on furniture. Couple that with the way No Loyalty can expand and contract to fit any size group, and it's a great addition to your family/party game shelf!

Crazy fun despite expectations!

Noel O. I. December 16, 2025

When I first hear the title, I thought it was going to be a more sly and devious game. Upon arrival and reading more into the rules, I found it to be rather more of a great ice breaker game. Still was fun! It can push the secluded person out their comfort zone to do all sorts of wacky challenges. My family was hesitant but loved it (we are more strategy based). If you want a party game for a bunch of outgoing people, or if you want to make a bunch of outgoing people, this game is for you!

Just the right amount of chaos – and then you add more people!

David J. W. December 17, 2025

We got No Loyalty in advance of New Year's Eve, and we are glad that we did!The family (two adults and two kids) tested this out when it arrived. Like everything from Exploding Kittens, the instructions are optional, with a quick video and a few trial runs the right approach to figure it out. There are not a lot of rules, and there is a lot of opportunity to make things up as you go. With the four of us, the game moved quickly, with teams shuffling at every turn. That is the “no loyalty” premise of the game, and it keeps things moving quickly and unpredictably. Like many EK games, it makes everyone feel like a winner too, which is important where kids are concerned. That said, the teaming and reteaming doesn't have a huge impact with four players. The game is fun, but four people barely scratch the surface of the “no loyalty” concept. And that's exactly why we are excited for New Year's Eve! With a few families of adults and kids, this could be the perfect solution to what could be yet another annual gathering. I can imagine the teaming and reteaming getting out of control in a good way with 10–15 people, and I cannot wait to see what happens. On that note, this could be a great orientation/retreat sort of game, or a way to bring singles together in a fun way.

Fun at times but sometimes confusing and unclear how to win points

Barry H. December 27, 2025

Our review might be a factor of the number of people playing, and the space involved. We played with 5 people around a table but without a huge amount of space around the table. All were adults ranging in age from 22 to 62.We liked that the teams kept changing randomly, which kept things interesting. And some of the games were easy to figure out, such as the thumb war, arm wrestle, build the house of cards before the other team.Others, however, were not so clear. Form a conga line and dance around the table for example - who wins that one? I think some additional thought needs to go into how to clearly define winners and loosers. We also found that since there were 5 of us that often gave an unfair advantage to one team or the other. Making a circle with bodies is a LOT easier with three people than two people. And, because of the limited space, we all agreed to just skip ALL of the prompts that involved going around the table (e.g. the conga line). There seemed to be a lot of those too.We also felt it lacked some of the cute quirkiness that we have come to to expect from EK games.Hope that helps!

Quality Chaos

James A. December 21, 2025

Another fun game from Exploding kittens. Be warned...you need space! The challenges are fun and active. It's a bit tough with a big age range since not everyone will be understand the task, but you figure out a rhythm pretty wuick. On the downside, I miss the Oatmeal artwork that made exploding kittens stand out.

Good for very large groups

Deana December 28, 2025

We broke out this game with a group of 5, and I have to say it fell a little flat. The rounds seemed to go too quickly, and people quickly lost interest. On a different day, we played the game with a group of 8 and it went over much better! Plan to play again with a group of 12 (adults only) and anticipate the game will prove to be a lot of fun.
