This is the best thermometer -- it's non contact, so easy to use and read results with large numbers and color coded for normal and elevated temps from green to orange to red, and the price was great. Nothing bad to say about this item.

I really like this thermometer, just point at forehead and you have your temperature. That simple, these should have been developed years ago in my opinion. Love it and so simple to use.

It is easy to take the temperature of a child who does not stay still with the traditional thermometer. I bought 2.

This is straightforward...open box, insert batteries, take temperature. There is more this can do than we will probably ever use but it does the trick in a snap. There's no warm up or cool down time so you can verify temperature in multiple locations very quickly. This is perfect for our two little girls; as anyone with children knows, when they're sick, it can be a very unpleasant experience for everyone when trying to get a temperature reading by other means. I love this non touch thermometer! I use it both at home and at work. Nobody else touches it, except me. I recommended this to my fellow teachers and parents. I recommend this product for everyone!

The best part of this thermometer is that the batteries came with it! I love how it detects body temperature, room temperature and surface temperate. It is pretty easy to setup and use and works very quickly (within one second). I have two issues with it. The first is that I am unsure how accurate it is. I took the surface temperate of an item three times without moving and it still gave me the same reading. However, when I tried to take my husbands body temperature the same way, I had a very slight variance. It could be that my husband was not as still or maybe his body did have a slight variance. It seems accurate enough, so I will definitely keep using it. The second issue is that it is very light. This can be a good thing but I am scared that if I were to drop it on a hard surface, it may break, so for this reason, I took off one star. It is fun taking the different temperatures of items. For instance, my pillow is slightly cooler than my husbands pillow. It is not really useful information but still fun to find out!

When I received this it did not work. I tried new batteries, still did not work. I returned it to the store.
