Nordic Ware 10" Microwave Splatter Cover, Clear Plastic,

Much sturdier than I expected. Perfect fit for my soup bowls and luncheon plates. Fits on rim of my dinner plates, wish it was a little larger for them. And, a great price!

No flimsy like the cheap ones you get . Sturdy enough even after using it couple of times.

I had one of these several years ago, but it was really cheap plastic and didn't hold up well at all. I already spent money on that one and didn't want to spend money on another one, so I never replaced it. I've just been doing without, but now I've decided it's time to get another one. I knew I was taking a chance by ordering this one, because the cost was so low, but I'm glad I did. This is really good quality, nice and sturdy. And it's the perfect size to cover my plates. This was a good purchase!

These microwave splatter covers also contain any steam. The cover might get hot to the touch from all the heat and steam coming off the food, especially if the microwave is on for more than a few minute. 10 inch cover has about a 1/2 inch wide additional lip around the edge but should still fit most full size microwave turntable platters

I bought this Nordicware microwave splatter cover,I like it but it was damaged when I took it out of the box.A piece was broken off the rim and it was broken where the piece broke off from.Maybe if it was wrapped in bubble wrap it would have been safe but it was just put in the box with other things. I did ask for a replacement and I was promised one. I was told to donate or recycle the damaged item. I will have to recycle it because its practically broken, the piece came off totally so it cant be used.Hope I get the replacement.Will write another review if I receive the replacement.

Love a spatter-free microwave! Sits atop my 11" diameter plate. Would rest on the microwave's glass carousel if plates were 10". Like how you can see your food heating through the milky-clear plastic. Vented. 'Handle' may be slippery if wet/greasy. Sturdy - has held up well over a couple of months' use now. Easy to clean by hand and have not tried it in the dishwasher. Appreciated Nordic Ware's recommendation to not microwave it longer than 3". Reasonable (less than $2 per item) price surprised me - bought three! Pleased with my purchase.

I gave it four stars only because it's plastic. but this thing is great even if it is plastic. if you dislike cleaning your microwave every time you turn around, this is for you. A friend bought it for me and I turned around and bought one for a friend.

It does warm up the food more quickly. However, the dish as well gets very hot. BEWARE: When you lift the lid off you can burn yourself because the cover does get hot! Make sure you lift it from the outer part of the container and NOT the bottom part!

I've had one from Noric Ware for eons, and it's been wonderful for covering small bowls (envision Corelle cereal bowl size) and plates. Top rack dw, and fits beatufilly place within a pot in my pot drawer. So I wnted a slightly larger one, thought this particular one would fit the need. Well, no, it did not. Too wide; Too big, so would take up way too much valuable space in the drawer and for me with movement issues, the convenience of having it right by the space where the over the range micro is located is a BIG MUST. The "return window" has passed so I guess I'm stuck with it. Will probably donate with the next scheduled donation. Meanwhile I found EXACTLY WHAT I NEED ONLINE, ALSO BY NORDIC WARE BUT WITH AN OUCH PRICE OF JUST OVER $8. Placing an order b/c it's what I need, measured 8 inches.

Was working fine until first few days until we notice a hole in the top like the paper on it had caught on fire and burned a hole threw it like someone had put a cigarette out on it!
