Nordic Ware Autumn Leaves Pancake Pan

I like this pan, like the pictures on the pancakes. What I did not like too much was flipping the pancakes on this. It takes some practice and I flipped them too early which lead to a mess. So let them cook long enough on each side before trying to flip them. Other than that it's a fun little pan for kids to get designs on pancakes.

I'm fairly certain Nordic Ware thought this was great for making pancakes and would shudder at the thought of suggesting that it is better suited to disable an intruder. The handle gives it the perfect grip for swinging this pancake pan. It is cast aluminum so while it's not as heavy as cast iron, it is heavy enough to knock someone silly, which is what I wanted to do after attempting to make pancakes. My experience wasn't as successful as the other reviewer based on their rating, yet I will always wonder if that person used as many cuss words as I did when trying to flip the teeny-tiny pancakes. I should not have attempted this when I was already hangry, yes hangry, (which is the most clever portmanteau ever, but I digress). But, since the packaging contained no such warning, I confidently and boldly began my walk into the depth of breakfast he11. I am comforted in knowing that others have followed me and they too, share my love of four-letter cuss words, which far outweighed the number of possible stars I could have given this cute little pan that mocks me to this very day.
