Nordic Ware Basalt™ 11" Square Griddle

I love that this pan comes from 'Merica'. Ever since the covid times, I prefer to buy things local. This griddle was perfect for cooking large meals on lonely nights for myself. It's so high tech that it incorporates my tears perfectly into the structure, giving a salty taste to my eggs and bacon. Would reccomend every time, 5 out out of 5. My hat's off to the griddle pan.

John Orr is not pl eased with this gridded. Used very little, but all of a sudden w arped bad. Unusuabel I can send a picture for u to see if there might be a warranty for this.

We love this pan! We use all stainless pans at home but got this griddle to replace our old one that had teflon. We have been making bigger breakfasts lately and needed an easy to clean griddle. This pan is a breeze to clean, nothing sticks and we love that it is safer being ceramic. Made in the USA was a must and this seems to be a quality sturdy pan. We love all of our other Nordicware pans and they have stood the test of time. Glad we found a ceramic griddle made in the USA! Hopefully the 10" skillet is available again soon and we will be set with a good scrambled egg pan too!

After only two weeks of use, the pan is showing signs of deterioration. Not on the cooking surface but on the opposite side (the burner/coil side). The black coating is easily scratched and small bits appear to be flaking off (I can see the raw aluminum beneath). My stove top has standard nichcrome burners with which this pan is supposed to be compatible. I am disappointed as I went out of my way to "buy American" and now I am wondering if I should have stuck with a product made in the PRC. Have we forgotten how to make quality cookware in this nation?

Item arrived damaged and to date nothing has been done to correct it.

I was so excited to get this and thought the quality would be great because it was Nordic. After the first use it warped and no longer lays flats. Everything floats to the middle and it rocks on my stove. I only warmed up some tortillas and now it is unusable for the most part! Terrible for the price of it.
