plates worked well in microwave, did not heat up that much, easy to handle from microwave. food did not stick to plate.

I can't speak to how well they microwave, because I don't have a microwave. But they are great for quick meals with my toddler rather than having to use my glass plates. And they pass the spaghetti test. So far they have washed completely clean without staining.

I received these Plates just in time for dinner! and it was perfect timing. All I did was rinse with soap and water then we had Steak and onions Mashed Potatoe and Corn. The knife didn't cut through the plate and the plate was strong enough to do this on our laps. I love also how easy they cleaned up. also, they have a bit of an uplift to the sides, I see this as being handy with other meals also like something with Gravy!

These plates are pretty as well as durable. They are light weight yet durable and they are dishwasher safe. I put these in the bottom rack of the dishwasher and they did just fine. After an accident last year I don't have much use in my left hand. I really like that they are both light weight as well as durable being up in years, an accident and having arthritis in one of my hands it's difficult to hold things.

These plates are sturdy yet light weight. They fit in a microwave, and were perfect for heating meals. Also easy to wash and dry, then stack. I was impressed with Nordic Ware and enjoy their website. They are family owned since 1946 and attentive to sustainability and fair labor practice. Can't go wrong with Nordic Ware and I plan to order items.

These Nordic Ware everyday plates are good quality. They are lightweight, but sturdy. You can load your plate and not worry about sauce leaking trout or the plate folding in on itself. The wash up so easily. We've stopped using so many paper plates and have started using these instead. Nordic Ware is a name I trust for quality products.

I love the look and feel of these everyday plastic plates. The slight grey speckled finish ups the appearance of these durable plates that are so much better than using paper plates. They are great for busy families with no fear of breakage and can go right in the microwave.

The everyday usable name pretty much says it all for this two pack of plates. You may not want to serve a special dinner guest with these plates, but if for you have a backyard cookout, these plates are perfect to use. They are functional, easy to clean and plenty big to hold a meal. The plates are light weight at a 10 inch diameter. So far they have not marked up easily from cutting my food on them and haven't stained badly from the sauces or condiments I use. They are used daily for dinner and are okay for use to warm food in the microwave and are okay to clean in a dishwasher. Recommend the product if you just want to have a daily functional but not fancy plate and are happy with a very inexpensive item.

It's just my husband and I now, so we use these for dinner rather than the China plates that are heavy. No need to put in the dishwasher because they're so light in weight and clean quickly. Saves energy not using the dishwasher as often. I took one star away because if they were smaller in size then I would use them for breakfast and lunch.

So I thought these plates were designed special to heat food evenly and thoroughly in the microwave, they however are just plastic plates. They are microwave and dishwasher safe but do not perform any special function in the microwave. They are about an inch smaller than a dinner plate and I will most likely just use them for my grandchildren. I would recommend them instead of paper plates but as far as being designed to heat food evenly, they fall short.
