plates worked well in microwave, did not heat up that much, easy to handle from microwave. food did not stick to plate.

I was surprised to find that these plates stay nice and cool after warming food in the microwave. They are a decent size for not too little food and not to much food. I wish they came in a nicer color though. They seem strong and look like they will last for awhile.

I microwave a lot--usually on paper or glass plates. Sometimes the glass cracks. Paper just adds to the landfill. These Nordic Ware plastic plates are now my go-to item for reheating food in the microwave. They're lightweight and easier to clean than glass. They do get pretty warm underneath the plate, but I can handle them by the edges with bare hands. So convenient (and dishwasher safe). I am very pleased. I only have two plates at this time, but I intend to purchase more. I shall be recommending them to my extended family and friends as well. They aren't cheap, but I believe they'll last a long, long time if cared for properly.

These plates are an excellent choice. They're unbreakable and easy to use and clean. What I like h the most is that they are also microwaveable! A lot of plastic or melamine plates are not. So along with being dishwasher safe you can use in the microwave as well. I'm very happy with them. Mine are an off white color and I have even eaten spaghetti and meatballs on them and they did not leave that all-too-often red residue stain. These plates are great!

These Nordic Ware everyday plates are good quality. They are lightweight, but sturdy. You can load your plate and not worry about sauce leaking trout or the plate folding in on itself. The wash up so easily. We've stopped using so many paper plates and have started using these instead. Nordic Ware is a name I trust for quality products.

I will start by admitting i use paper plates a lot more than I probably should, but I hate how when heating anything in microwave they get flimsy, so these should help mainly because if I use a regular plate in microwave they get very hot, so I used one of these for pizza rolls for a quick lunch and it worked out well, plate was not to hot to touch pizza rolls were done and plate cleaned up easily, which is another plus I always worry about staining anything when heating up in microwave but so far these still look like they ate new, I like these, they are very light weight but well made, I haven't chipped them or cut anything on them, but I think they will last, so I would recommend these for using instead of paper plates even though you have to wash them. they are also slightly tapered so I haven't had anything slip off my plate.

These plates are sturdy yet light weight. They fit in a microwave, and were perfect for heating meals. Also easy to wash and dry, then stack. I was impressed with Nordic Ware and enjoy their website. They are family owned since 1946 and attentive to sustainability and fair labor practice. Can't go wrong with Nordic Ware and I plan to order items.

These plates are pretty as well as durable. They are light weight yet durable and they are dishwasher safe. I put these in the bottom rack of the dishwasher and they did just fine. After an accident last year I don't have much use in my left hand. I really like that they are both light weight as well as durable being up in years, an accident and having arthritis in one of my hands it's difficult to hold things.

I received these Plates just in time for dinner! and it was perfect timing. All I did was rinse with soap and water then we had Steak and onions Mashed Potatoe and Corn. The knife didn't cut through the plate and the plate was strong enough to do this on our laps. I love also how easy they cleaned up. also, they have a bit of an uplift to the sides, I see this as being handy with other meals also like something with Gravy!

So I thought these plates were designed special to heat food evenly and thoroughly in the microwave, they however are just plastic plates. They are microwave and dishwasher safe but do not perform any special function in the microwave. They are about an inch smaller than a dinner plate and I will most likely just use them for my grandchildren. I would recommend them instead of paper plates but as far as being designed to heat food evenly, they fall short.
