super heavy duty I absolutely love it thank God it's not cast iron. anything Nordicware makes is fantastic

It takes a little getting used to, but if you follow the directions online on how to use it, it's fairly simple to make this delicious treat.

This waffle iron is fantastic! I make waffles for my family about once a month using this waffle iron and it turns our perfect waffles every time and it's truly nonstick. The key to success has been tuning the cooking time and rotation to my stove top, and , tuning the batter thickness so that spreads evenly across the waffle forms. I love this thing!

Love it! Easy, convenient, slim to store, amazing waffles made! Family and I are super pleased. Well made, hefty but not heavy. I should have bought one of these years ago, great Saturday and Sunday breakfast and more. Makes store bought waffle look and taste horrible.

I just made Belgian waffles this morning with my waffler. I got this waffle make in the mid 1980's! I haven't used it in a few years - Why? I don't know. It worked perfectly! Forty years and going strong. Thanks Nordicware!

Many years ago, I took this device with me when I joined the Peace Corps. What a life saver. I lived in a community with no electricity, this thing was wonderful. Used it regularly and always had great waffles! With some tropical fruit and honey, desert was never a problem. One thing to remember is to not brush with oil until it is hot. Never had a sticking problem if I waited to oil the surfaces till fully heated.

We used this on our last camp trip and love it. It is easy to use.

Aside from the error in description, the item is great. Works wonderfully and seems like it will last a long time with the proper care. I prefer this than a big contraption to store in the kitchen, this has a thin profile that won't take up much cabinet real estate.

I never been able to get the waffle to release, I tried everything, waiting to preheat, lubricant it…nothing seems to work, my waffles would split in half everytime or the outside would burn and still didn't come off in 1 piece. I'm so frustrated I have stored it away and bought an electric waffle maker that didn't give me any issues. I want to love this stove top waffle maker so badly!

The product description is inconsistent. Title says cast Iron, link says aluminum, description says cast iron, the details say aluminum. What is it? Aluminum! I can't eat from aluminum cookware and I'd to return it.
