Very please with the pie crust shield. Heavy duty and easy to assemble and use. Throwing out all the others and buying another one of these.

better than using aluminum foil strips
the ring is flimsy and doesn't make a perfect circle when changing sizes, but it does the job protecting the crust and beats the alternative of using strips of aluminum foil

Not bad and not great
It does a great job of preventing pie crust edge from burning. But it is quite difficult to put together and if gripped to tightly it cuts your hands.

I was really looking forward to this product as it indicated it would be adjustable according to the size of the pie tin. However, it is virtually impossible to adjust the size to fit a smaller pie plate.
