They work well and eliminate any odor.

I am enjoying my compost keeper because it keeps my sink clean and neat until I take the contents to compost area out of doors. My granddaughter said, that is really neat grandma and not smelly.

The filters last about 6 months and are very easy to pull out and put in new ones. They really help keep the smell from the compost at bay. They are great at absorbing odors. Easiest maintenance ever.

These replacement filters work great. It is best to get them at LEM.

These say they last 6 months, but I had to replace them after a few weeks. They totally absorbed the (very bad) smell from my compost container and were stinking up the kitchen. Very disappointed. We are required by our municipality to separate and collect food scraps now, and between the odor and the fruit flies I'm finding it a bit challenging.

Pretty sure this is supposed to all be a barrier against fruit flies. It did not stop them and I have had to clean maggots out of these filters repeatedly.
