Buy the Norpro Holder...
Great product. But buy the Norpro 941 Stainless Steel Cook Twine Holder for $12.75 and you get this same 220 foot spool of cotton twine with it... and free shipping!

long delivery time, when I finally received item it did not have the stainless steel canister as was described in the description in the Walmart online catalog . Was not happy with the purchase. will keep the string but will not order from max warehouse again.\n

Picture shows silver container - not included
Food safe, a little pricey for it not to come in the container shown. It clearly states in the "About this item" : comes securely contained in the included stainless steel 3.25" dispenser. In the description of the twine it does state it comes in a ball -- however, it clearly states "Twine comes contained in a 3.25" stainless steel dispenser" I could have gotten a different brand at half the price If any of my local stores would have had it in stock (and something that IS still used by those who cook) I would have seen what it was and not been duped

Would have been nice to receive the holder that it leads you to believe comes with it. Pricey for just the twine.

Not the item pictured
Pictured is the metal container but you only get the twine. It was my fault for not reading the full description. I was reading a Google search review and clicked a link that took me to this item. A picture of the twine that you get should be pictured not the container that is sold for $12.00

Not as pictured!!
The picture is very misleading. There's only 1 pic. I deliberately chose this item due to the picture showing the stainless steel dispenser. It is not included. Which is fine, but I would not have bought the "ball" (because it doesn't fit). I would have bought the roll on the spindle to begin with AND the stainless dispenser. Now I have to return it
