Like so many Nor pro products this is made of high-quality. I use a lot of apples in the fall mostly peeling. This corer will make things easier. It worked fine. My only issue was making sure it was lined up properly which is a little bit hard to tell. But I will probably get better at that with useI use.

two solid peaces
this apple core system is strong and easier to manage. its just two solid pieces. i clean the hollow tube core peace with a tooth brush and soap to get the inside clean sometimes

Two ways to use
I use the Norpro 5103 for coring apples and for making a hole in a 9x13 cake. After the cake is baked and cooled, I score the top of the cake to get 12 servings. Then I center the Norpro 5103 corer over each serving and make a hole to fill with prepared pudding. It takes 2 small boxes.
